by offering isk in exchange for gametime, you create an incentive for people to buy GTCs/PLEX, which means you're indirectly paying CCP

The way I see it, it's there game... they have a right to subsidize behavior they want to encourage - and even do it in private. I hope this thread isn't just a I'm mad because I didn't get one rant.

I will agree though that if they are wanting to subsidize and encourage behavior the awarding of the ship in public would have better served that purpose... it would have been interesting; a formal awarding of the ship by Jove in Jita in front of others they wished to incentivise.
