I logged on the first time to Singularity and cruised around Null and Low looking for anoms (the easy ones that always show up in the ship scanner) and went through about 12 systems with no anoms....

Are they removed from the test server due to server load? Or was I just in the wrong Null.... I did see Serp Gate rats.

:o)

PS... the 100ISK anything sale is VERY fun.

There are anoms and they're *Supposed* to spawn the same way as TQ, however there have been times where I haven't found any "normal" (Ones that need no probes) for a few systems. 12 does seem excessive but it just may be that they haven't generated.

The only anoms that are directly effected in some respects are Wormholes. As people aren't usually inside and scanning exit holes, you tend to find only the server generated entry holes and no K162's (as no ones found the other side to spawn them in)

thanks for the response.... I ended up finding a few in Low Sec after a while. When I am in Null on TQ, there is at least a dozen in every other system, but I found only ICE anoms in Null where I was at.... just trying to test out the ships.

On TQ the sites are constantly being completed by thousands of players, every time a site is completed (it or another) spawn somewhere else.

On Sisi there is at best 300~400 players. And most are not running sites.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Sometimes you won't have any and then you'll suddenly stumble upon a system with 3 or 8.

So verifying I went to an alts Null Sec Home Base where I know there are at least 15 Angel Anoms all the time, it has a station with maxed trade items....

No anoms..

I am to assume that they just don't spawn them.

The system was of course dead, so perhaps it's based on the number of players in a system.

Sort of a bummer to test ships when there are only Belt Rats to kill.... Boo..

Like previously mentioned, anoms arent going to spawn if people arent running them.

Well, that sort of blows for that first player out on the field does it not, unless I am misunderstanding what you mean.

Sad So if no one is running them, then they don't spawn.
Oops If the first guy (me) wants to run them, they are not there to run. Or just hunt endlessly for one in other areas.

Seems like a rock and a hard place, or immovable object meets unstoppable force... (batman) ,,,, so I must be missing something.

I have a workaround and just find a mission agent, but otherwise it's REALLY fun to play on that server with unlimited ships to explode.

The following numbers are completly made up and have no factual basis what so ever. The exact mechinacs are just what i can tell from experience, and may not be an accurate representation of how things work.
You have been warned.

Say there are 100 gurista's 3/10 complexes that will spawn, each has its own automatic despawn timer, with no one running the sites they have to naturaly go away. On TQ there is someone almost allways scanning a system and running complexes so it gives the false impression that there are thousands of sites when in reality the 100 are just being completed and respawn somewhere else.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

So to work SISI in regard to testing ships against Pirates, etc..

Big smile What would be a suggestion to find pirates of a certain type "Say Angel Anoms" , or is it just jump to jump in systems that would normally spawn them and keep looking for the prize in the cracker jack box.

Don't get me wrong, I find stuff to blow up, but it would be cool if it was the same stuff I am trying to blow up on TQ and I plan to go back often to SISI just for the peace in Null that is not available in TQ. You know, while watching a movie, etc....... it's funny, even though I know there is only 90 people online, it still gives me the chills using autopilot in Null on SISI.

Yup, if you are looking for Angel Anoms, look where they would normaly spawn on TQ. Chances are you will see nothing for a while and then all of a sudden a system might have a bunch in it.

Remember that having dozens of anoms in a system is usually tied to your alliance having upgraded the system to spawn extra ones and having the upgrade level increased by having many people killing rats in system to keep the upgrade level high.

So while a farming system can have dozens of anomalies on TQ, sisi will revert back to natural spawn mechanics where you generally get less than 1 per system.
