I find it amusing you talk out of both sides of your mouth.

On one hand free intel bad.

On the other free intel good.

Do you perchance have a third hand?

And no Lucas, I'm not going back to another thread. I like discrediting you in this one by pointing out this wild inconsistency on your part.
The inconsistencies are in your understanding rather than my beliefs. I believe in diversity, that's all. I'm neither for or against intel systems as they stand or changes to them, but those changes have to be balance and not just thrown in because some random group wants a fresh intel advantage over another. The fact is you've been able to put forward a balanced suggestion, you simply keep reeling off the same one, then you try to pick out the semantics of responses. How about you improve your idea, rather than simply trying to discredit those that object to it?

Nope, it is pretty clear. Free is good when it works for you. When it works against you, then it is bad.

There is a word for that....

I like the idea. I wouldn't mind it showing up as "Unknown vessel", with the class (frigate, destroyer, etc.) if you have a probe launcher fitted. Oh, and can we kill local? Lol

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Instead I have to do all these things, I have to work for those benefits. Intel should, in theory be the same way.
I support a defensive model for local, in which outside of empire space, the owner of the system can buy various improvements to local channels but unauthorized intruders get nothing more than their scanners. Would also be nice to have a limited-range local anchorable structure that can be used in wormhole space or smuggled into enemy space in nullsec for an ambush.

limited range in that it only detects things in range of its scans, but anyone authorized to it can see what it shows merely by being in system
