[EBKNT] Organizational Changes

There have been some recent changes within the Order of the Ebon Rose that need to be announced.

Prior to announcing these changes, let it be known that the operations undertaken by the Order are still in progress and will not be affected by these changes.

Effective immediately, I am no longer an active member of the Order for personal reasons. Due to recent events, I have found certain skills to be sorely lacking and therefore have branched out for aid and instruction. I would have preferred to do this under the banner of the Ebon Rose, but logistically it was not feasible.

The Order is still active and though I have stepped aside for the moment, I retain controlling interest in the organization and am still available as a point of contact for the organization.

In my absence, the position of CEO has been handed over to one Dominique Saissore. Her father and that line of the family have maintained Stewardship of the Order for the last century so it is fitting that it be handed back to them to maintain and uphold the ideals the Order stands for.

To be clear, though I have stepped aside from the Order for the time being, the Order is still around and if needed, to be gotten a hold of, I am still the best avenue of contact.

The orphanage project will not be affected by this transition of leadership and the pledge made by the Order will be upheld.

Thank you and good day.

Sometimes tough decisions are needed to preserve what is important.

You're now stepping aside from a position of trust which has been passed down for centuries. In recent months, the Order and its principles have found a manifestation in your profile. The orphans you have saved, the donors whose goodwill you have channeled, the manslayers you have led to a path of virtue, they will all remember your righteous deeds and inspiring guidance. Leaving it all behind, to do what you have to do, must have been an incredibly difficult conclusion to reach.

I wish you success with your new undertakings, and hope that you will reach your goals, or find something better along the way.

Also, my congratulations to Dominique Saissore upon her new job, always happy to see Saissores in prominent positions. If there's anything I can do to help with the start, just let me know.

It is always a cause for celebration when a pilot makes such a positive career change. Pyre Falcon looks forward to watching Steffanie Saissore grow on the battlefield. Jude Kopenhagen is an excellent combat pilot and I look forward to flying alongside you both, bringing death to the enemies of the State.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Either you're confused or I am.

The little excursion I took with Jude on the weekend was in Black Rise and included a couple members of Pyre in the roam.

Good luck Steff. As you know, my offer is always there, no matter the colors you fly. When you train with us, you'll be ready next time, I swear it.

EDIT: And you'll have a good chunk of folk backing you!

It was a night well spent, and I feel privileged for playing a modest part in your blooding. Best of luck in your future endeavors, and if you ever feel the urge to tangle with a bunch of pirates, blood-sporters, Gallenteans or other assorted scum again, you know who to call, yeah?

Confusion resolved, I trust?

I suppose so, though I'm a bit confused about the whole destroying-the-State's-enemies thing since my impression was that Stormcrows were supposed to be a non-partisan organisation. And, you know, Steff was a positive Gallente romantic the last time I checked.

Their business, not mine of course.

The Stormcrows and Pyre-Falcon often fly together in the warzone. Our two organisations have 'history'. Admittedly they seem to have engaged only pirates when they took Steffanie out, but that state of affairs is hardly normal on our mutual roams.

Mind you, they're FDU. It's not like they're paragons of Federal culture. We're talking about Soter for Winds sake.

I try not to hold it against them, eh. Interests aligned, and I can respect that they're living proof that "nonpartisan" doesn't automatically mean "nonviolent."

I look forward to it.

Yes, I see what you are saying. Still, with all respect I would personally have some difficulty shooting at them.

Do not mistake my confusion for offence or any judgement on Capt. Saissore. It was simply that.
