That actually was a scandal. It was scandalous. This is merely people making hay out of a legit, generous but somewhat clumsily executed gesture.

So T20 would have been fine if it was done under the guise of a reward for contributions to the community?

Perhaps that question would be relevant when CCP starts giving away BPO's to groups that do not bring beneficial and popular services to the community. Smile

Yes Guyz , Becauuuuuse..... valuable services to the Commuhnatay are valuable, even when said "Commuhnatay" is saying on a threadnaught they aren't... and the supposed representatives have better things to do than representing it, like anything really. E: and since our Glorious and Unbiased Overlord CCP Eterne chose to lock the threadnaught, I guess I have to post my -2 accounts here. it might be because most CSM response has been focused on blink, and scorpions rather than the precedent the situation presents and thus people feel like the CSM just don't get it. made even worse by CCP locking the thread and redirecting us to two completely irrelevant stickies.

i imagine. not that i agree with attacking the CSM for it, though.

Look, it's just like real life politics; You understand it but don't agree with it, even though its you job to represent it whether you agree with it or not

I bring it up frequently when speaking of the CSM, but look at how the CSM came about in the first place; CCP conflict of interest. I remember before all this SB escapade I was told "Yeah but they don't do that anymore". LOL.

They are finally getting the game going in the right direction but their politics leave a lot to be desired.

INB4 CCP tries burying the topic in the stickies and hopes this goes away. All of these CSMs are on their last term. Assuming of course CCP changes paths and most of their playerbase doesn't inevitably unsub. But I don't think dismissing genuine concerns and labeling it jealousy and immature rage is going to see any of them re-elected.

The CSM are powerless puppets, useless, and at this point only care about a pat on their head and trying to save their nifty forum title.

This CSM has to be the most incompetent and corrupt to date.

Prediction. The typical moronic trolls such as BuffoonAside and others will start to derail the thread and a CCP Dev will pretend the thread is intolerable and close it down. But like the other threads, it isn't, that's just a cover to bury any talk of the cheating and corruption. And it will fail.
