I'm growing a bit suspicious of the fact that most of the toons who buy plex are from NPC corps with no employment history and no killboard records. The market might be bogus/manipulated. In this case this is not going to work of course :)

Damn girl, stay the course!

If you say what I think is, that hurt small, really small size PLEX traders.

You cannot alter price course if there is healthy, real demand for plex.

Second, you only help large volume traders to get easyer large volumes of PLEX.

Third, when large volume traders get enough and decide to push price up, will deny you access to more plex, with simply agressive overbidding on buy side. You run out of ammo.

Traders for profit will not be able to get very many orders filled. Pushing up is a huge huge risk in this scenario. Basically whoever does that will widen the spread for others to outbid them immediately.

But again, you hurt only small, so small petty plex traders with 20B-100B capital.
They are nervous, histerycal like chicken with fox nearby.

But large volume traders works on a minimum 24h trade cycle period, so you need to be online non-stop, long time.

We should make a team with rotation i think. We don't want multiple bids or multiple traders working at the same time on this clearly. We want the bids to collapse as soon as they are ready, no need for excessive fussing around at the same break point.

In any case, I just pointed short term obstacles here.
If you're able to do this for a week or two, it will hurt badly some bigheads so they may just do wtf and dump all on buy side.

I like this plan, hope will bring some fun there.
Too bad I'm not into position to help you directly, but will stay some time off from PLEX market.

Anyway, this seems to be working, so the message is out there. I'm just the messenger for now. We'll see how it plays out.

At to the OP , i am REALLY curious if it is possible to drive it down for a full 24 hour , not to mention a full week.I'd guess impossible but please do prove me wrong here.

good volume at 489.9m. gaining good downward momentum. might push past below 480 afk resistance in a few hours.

What she's doing is basically spending the margin between equilibrium price and buy order price on killing the margin on the sell side. As was pointed out above, she's just creating volume to drive down margin on both ends, but she's sacrificing her profits on the sell side by aggressively lowering sell prices.

Done well, this is completely sustainable as she's actually making money on the buy side. This is how one effectively collapses a market's margins.

Good on you.

Running at a slight loss to make things quicker. Might force the push past 480.

Tell us how this is going to address the cause of the price spike?

By creating downward pressure in a situation with maybe some existing upward pressure and excessive speculation.

The reality right now is, as a trader you cannot make money in the PLEX market :) (courtesy of myself)
Why would you put a buy order out for a PLEX as a trader? If traders are not buying plex the price will drop, one part of it due to people not being able to acquire to sell and the other part due to people being sick of sitting on their stocks not being able to sell and dumping those.

The edge is REALLY hard to see at times but it DOES exist and in this case we were looking at a situation where a new feature created for all of our customers was being virtually curbstomped by five of them

I've never quite been able to tell the difference between Dutch and drunk. When talking about flakeys of course, the distinction is even more (both literally and figuratively) blurry Big smile
