CCP, give everyone the skills for the Bastion Module

Both this and Dinsdales reply to me above are more work than creating and running a script that gives everyone a certain skill at a certain level, I think. That would also be automatically cleaned up the next time we mirror, which is convenient as it doesn't require further follow up. As I say, will see what the team is saying.


The exact mechanism doesn't really matter as long as the effect is the same. Thanks for looking at this.

Oh hello!

We found a slightly different solution to this problem: We modified our moveme script a bit to enable giving out needed skills for operating Marauders and the Bastion module. Please join the channel "moveme" and write "Bastion" into the channel. This will work only when my character CCP Habakuk3 is present in the channel. Please reply here if you find any problems with the script (I have to admit, that it is not 100% tested).

We also need sov, and deadspace modules, not to mention MJD skills. Or you are not going to get proper feedback.

Yeah, I had forgotten about the MJD skills needed.
Never needed them before, but for testing Marauders, with the Bastion module, they are pretty much mandatory.

I know CCP Habakuk3 will be offline when I get home and all patched up. Is it possible to have those skills shoved into my head (along with BS 5 skills)???

2 days and 14 hours for bastion module after injection of 100k sp.

Please CCP-bros do something about this! I'll apologise for all my bad posting! :(

Can we see this script deployed more in the future when testing certain things like this, say, before mass tests centering around a certain feature? thinking back on the hacking changes it would have been nice to have skills for t2 mods before the test began

We could probably use the skill for MJD, seeing as how that's part of Marauder testing....

If there is already a feedback thread for the new module I couldn't find it.

Anyhow, in the attributes section are the hull dmg resists suppose to to grouped together with the shield and armor resist? Cause right now they at the bottom and are actually separated from each other.

Apparently people without the skills to pilot the ship before are still having problems piloting the Marauders...
Is this coming with all the other prerequisites for marauders and bastion?

I had that problem, but when I re-logged, I could fly it. Maybe just a session change is needed.
