Just because some game mechanic allows you to be an Asshat does not mean you MUST be an Asshat.

I have a feeling that, given a valid target, there would be a LOT of people looking to take down POCOs belonging to the miner-bumpers ... they would likely figure they'd get a fight out of it or eliminate some assets.

Doesn't really bother me any, I live in W-space and do my PI there.

I'm just looking forward to being able to destroy more stuff without getting hotdropped ... (and before you say it -- yes, I'm terrible at EVE).

... though I'd kill to be able to siege a dread on top of said POCOs ...

I think it will be a great idea for the New Order to own some pocos. Sure they will prolly transfer them to someone who is not in the NO, but you can still wardec that corp and take down the pocos. A nice feature that is going to bring good fights, and maybe you miners will actually lean to PVP and get the revenge you keep crying and moaning about.

There are many possibilities. One is allowing high sec residents to pay a tax to be allowed to keep pocos in their corp ownership. A poco permit of sorts. Another is for more agents to officially join CODE so that the wardec costs are accurate. Yet another option is to have one of the many friendly nullsec alliances hold title to the pocos. I'm assuming that the mechanics will not permit people in NPC corps to anchor a poco... I wouldn't know, I've never bothered with them before.

Give Me all of your POCOs and I will pledge 1% taxes forever after and vow to hire mercenaries to protect them.

I shall create new corporations (with alts of course) and name them each after former Nobel Peace Prize winners, Mahatman Ghandi, Reverand Teresa, and Nelson Madela

All of the proceeds from the small tax rate will be divided evenly betwen EVE University, Red vs Blue fleet, and perhaps Brave Newbies (should they be brave enough to occasionally come to the causes aim)

GIVE ME your POCOS, and the "Everyman" of New Eden shall prevail , the powerless shall become stronger, the new players shall find a joy for fighting !






(edit -- this is a bit of poetic encouragement to form new coalitions to use the POCO's for good purpose in terms of shared purpose and helping new players - unike the OP : ) the suggestion that I myself be the beneficiary is a bit of a reciprocal hyperbole to the OPs post --- better to imply he's "full of it" with satire than to say he doesn't make any sense directly.)

You might consider that when that day comes... when you finally all snap and take up arms... on that day he will have won.

New Order should concentrate on what they do best. Instead of attacking POCOs they should focus on bumping them.
