So, Marauders are getting the new bastion mode which comes with some nifty animations and now the re-textures make sense.

Save for the Raven which, unless I've just been ignoring battleships, hasn't quite gotten a re-texture yet. Should we expect this for 1.5?

Edit: Color is inverted but, called it.

The Raven got a new model a short while ago. I'm suspecting they also changed its textures, given its level of detail. P

Did it? I thought it only got the V3 shader treatment..?

I think it looks awesome. That looks a lot tougher... and rightfully so. The Raven and Golem are getting a nice bad-a** modifier. I've always felt the raven looked a little to minmatar in that it just looks like the caldari scientists started slapping chunks of metal anywhere. It was the most bizarre and inefficient looking of the caldari ships, imho. This new model looks better thought out... it's a tighter design. As usual the CCP art department is awesome. Nice job +1

That's not a Raven, it's a Golem. Ravens still look like Ravens.

Right, but they completely re-textured the Megathron/Apocalypse/Tempest before hand - not just the marauders. Try not to sound snobby when the T1 variants were re-textured for the Marauder animations.

I have to say that I'm not impressed with the "duck face" Golem.

It wasn't cute 5 years ago and it still isn't.

I do believe the raven change was in retribution. The key changes about it being that the bridge looks better and the engines are more balanced.
