CCP has been giving large corps/alliances goodies for years, both covertly and blatantly. They think they can justify the latest move, but let's face it: people aren't going to unsub en masse. You'll get the usual forum failquitters, but they know they can get away with it with zero repercussions from the customer base, so why not do it?

Clearly not, which is why we need to chose. I think the CSM's old role (hold CCP accountable) is over; the new role is to determine which in game corps deserve favoritism.

That makes sense, that's what the M (management) is for, right?

They decide who are the Good People (tm) who make ccp happy.

I mean they can tell how much they have profited from the blink gtc sales

Let's not sabermetric this up too much; the only reason for giving away free ships can't purely be impact on CCP's bottom line, can it? (or maybe it can)

I do think, at a minimum, that whatever corp a CSM member's "main" character is in should receive at least one new T2 BPO, and slowly start to even the manufacturing field on a per-election basis.

Get the right to play their game with the tools they decide to, this is fair enough to me.
