LOL

Always funny to see a CSM get rolled in the forums. As the only function of a CSM is to talk about such issues (and drink black death and eat rotten shark on my sub dollar) does this mean you're stepping down? I don't see much point of you being a CSM if you're going to play the "This conversation is OVER because I SAID SO" card.

If your not doing everything you can to rip off CCP then your playing the game wrong because they obviously care more about their friends who run sites like somer blink then they do about us plebs who fork over a sub every month with our hard earned cash. Dont worry though Dust is still free to play LMAO what the F happened at CCP over the last 2 years did they start handing out Stupid pills before all meetings? Did they hire some docuhe bags from EA (oh **** they really did that my bad.)

Which T2 BPOs were created and purposed as community awards with no intrinsic value of their own?

Malcanis claims not to be mindless defender of CCP, yet directly quotes CCP retcon in attempt to mindlesly defend CCP.

The IshuScorps were not created as community awards. They were created to be sold for profit on the NEX store, right next to the CCP Kool-Aid.

1) They were repurposed as special award ships. I don't recall any wailing and whining about that, do you.

2) Ships to be sold hardly constitute special magical ships that shouldn't be given away grr grr

The problem is a "special award" that happens to be worth 10-20 billion isk then its not so much a "special award" and more a "special advantage." CCP *could* give out special awards that don't come with any resale value ... hey guess what, both you and I have one of those Malcanis ... its a special CSM medal :)

For me, an obvious choice. If I cry, the tears may be licked up and enjoyed. I could also begin to realize that the only way to not pay a CSM to give me the finger is to unsub.

Suppose CCP gave every director of Goonswarm Federation about 10 PLEX each for their contributions to the sandbox.
This comes out to, very roughly, 300 billion ISK worth of PLEX being given directly to the command staff of the largest alliance in the game.
Since PLEX doesn't refine to anything, has no intrinsic value aside from what players assign to it, and since our leadership is already ridiculously wealthy, you should have no problem with this, right? After all CCP has a right to reward its content creators.

We've now got two CSMs on the record doing their mealy-mouthed best to distinguish this from T20. Follow along with the fun!

"It's okay for CCP to favor in game corporations for being successful, they just can't be secret about it!"

"The in game corporations CCP is favoring don't even really need the help!"

"The gifts being given by CCP to favored in game corporations aren't as valuable as they could be! They could be worth way more!"

"It's CCP's game and they can do what they want!"

Honestly, the exact same defenses raised by a rare couple of scrubs over the T20 incident. There are ONLY two real differences between these recent situations and the T20 scandal.

1) all of CCP is behind this, not a rogue employee (how does that make it better?)

2) this time, the player base is apparently a lot more willing to look the other way (granted, some of the defenders were already given secret ship rewards)

1) CCP have been giving special award ships for a long, long time. Why is it suddenly a problem now

2) If you seriously need to ask what the difference is between CCP making a legitimate decision and 1 rogue employee directly breaking company policy then all I can ask is that you grow up, get a job and see how life actually works. I can't be bothered to talk to naive children.

1) wait . . . the fact that they've been doing it in secret for a long time makes it legitimate? Are you serious?

2) I can't believe this: you're honestly saying that if T20 had been corporate CCP policy you would have been okay with it. Good for you? (also, personal attacks, really? I not only have a job, I not only see how life actually works on a daily basis . . . you know what, whatever, not sinking to your level bud).

EDIT: Ahh, I see that you are "done with this" now. Given what your stance would have been back when BoB was getting preferential treatment, and that your only "objection" to this whole situation was form (keeping it secret) over substance (giving away assets to favored corps) I don't think you'll have to worry about a second term as CSM. The characters who actually vote in EVE have good memories.

What baffles me a bit is the obvious disconnection with the people.
Seriously, we don't need reallife politician behaviour here.

A fair amount of people display their concern and although i personally don't care
about the issue per se, the peoples voice is what counts.
