2) And that ISK value is pretty hypothetical. And it's based purely on the rarity of the Ishscorps given out so far. Note that so far. CCP have said outright that they've given these out before and they're going to be given out again. The mere fact of giving out another 30 has significantly reduced the rarity of these ships.

Okay, one of These Scorpions refines to 1 Trit. Let´s say, one Trit is worth 5 ISK in Jita. Why not give 150 ISK to Somer instead of the ships?

I've agreed with you about a lot of things, Malcanis. But on the one thing that really matters, you inexplicably chose the wrong crowd to side with.

Whatever. I'm done talking about this.

But it doesn't matter. It is an awful ship which CCP hands out like candy.

It only has a high ISK value because collectors are buying it overpriced . And you can't blame CCP for of the stupidity of their playerbase.

Although I imagine if Somer was run by a Goon or GSF he would have chosen the right side to be on?

Although I don't agree with what they have done I'm sure plenty of people from all sides have received things from CCP or affiliates that they probably don't want to rest of us to know about.

As for the Goons as someone said once, you tell a lie long enough it becomes the truth.

You can't fight emotion and unreasonableness Mal, though you always give it a good try :) .

I'm still encouraging people to unsub if they don't like it, because it's pitiful to see all this rage from supposed adults who are at the exact same time still paying ccp for the product.

You still have my vote Mal (and really, thats all you need, you will always be my CSM!!!! where is the heart symbol on this keyboard? Big smile), keep your chin up.

No, the Gnosis was handed out like candy, this was handed out like rare designer drugs in a back alley.

If it's perfectly OK to hand out ships with no combat value or utility, I'd like an opux luxury yacht for playing for 10 years, thanks in advance CCP.

That's awesome. Make some offhand tangential comments, fail to comprehend the actual problem, defend CCP (badly) and then end with 'Whatever, I'm done talking about this.'

It's great to know that a member of the CSM is done talking about Dev favouritism, and an issue that is angering the community he/she is supposedly there to represent.

this tbh. Its ironic that peope accuse him and ripard of whiteknighting when they try to portray their own side as some holy crusade of rightousness against the evils of 'that decision wot CCP made'.

Exactly I am paying them for a sandbox, not a demonstration of cronyism. The immature thing would be to launch ad hominem attacks and ignore the issue. Why should I quit when there is a chance I can convince CCP to be reasonable?

Malcanis is trying to back a clear example a favoritism. CCP gave these Scorpions to Blink, then gave them free advertising and rare items to give away. No other group in EVE has received such rewards, well T20 but he didn't give items as official company policy.

Yeah man, people pointing out that he doesn't seem to realize that CCP having the right to do this doesn't make it right are totes nitpicking.

Seriously though, come on, you guys seriously don't see a problem with giving player organizations ships rare enough that they can sell them and gain enough to buy a super? Never mind giving 30 of them to the same organization.

I guess someone learned from CCP's "how to deal with players" book.

Great job !

Ya'll are talking about a ship no pilot in his right mind would choose to actually fly, let alone fight in.

Isnt that the point do you think the pilots who were given this pos are actually going to fly it? HELL no they are going to sell it just like the email pointed out please dont put all 30 ships on the market it might attract unwanted attention. CCP should have just given them a prepaid credit card with IRL cash on it.
