Mining Industry Rebalance

Greetings Everyone, i Would like to purpose a new way for industry users to experience eve. since everything has been getting rebalanced. why not reboot on Local astroid belts?

here's my Purposal:

*Low-End Ore spawns public beacons (Example ICE Anom) with a instant respawn time when the Anomaly has been cleared

*Mid-End Ore spawns public beacons only when certian amount of Low-End Ore Anomalies have been cleared. (only spawns once then resets back to Low-End)

*High-End Ore spawns public beacons only when ceritan amount of Mid-end Ore Anomalies have been cleared. (only spawns once, then resets back to Low-End)

It works the same way you hunt faction rats, you must kill hundreds of normal rats to trigger a Faction rat. then the cycle repeats. Same trigger can be used for these Astroid Anomalies.

"the existing list of astroid anomalys that exist in the database can replace local belts"

The Trigger Rate can be decreased for Highsec so that not too many Mid-End and High-End ore appears in highsec call it balancing if you will, Slightly Increased for Low Sec since there is a risk factor involved, and Nullsec already Uses an Industry upgrade feature.

Mid-End ore & High-End ore can be scannable sigs instead should fair better.

Regards,

Think about it more ... and flesh out the idea.

As for right now, it's a solid "no".

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

With all the rage and buckets of tears from miners when their ice belts got moved into anoms, I think the acquisition of a bathtub would be necessary before implementing something like this.

There have been a lot of changes made to mining recently. The barge rebalance, the change to spawning levels, and the new system that makes hidden belts easier to find. I am not sure it is smart to make more changes until the economy balances from those.

WTS T2 tear buckets. Cool

Sigh.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I have had mixed feeling on this general idea. As a player from western US I often login after work to find belts that are empty or only contain Veld. From this aspect I would back an option that allows me to find full belts when I get on. On the other hand, I feel that the infinite ore of upgraded null is part of the cause of null ore value being so low.

While I agree that a change that takes away miners reliance on DT is needed, I don't think infinite ore is a valid solution.
