Leave launcher open. Close out your client if you want to change characters, then just click log in again on the launcher, then select the other character when the client opens again. Not very difficult.

This. There is a checkbox for it in the launcher settings, makes things easy.

Escape>Log Off Button in bottom right.

That button was removed some time ago. Show us a screenshot of this mythical button.

Check again
There's actually 2 buttons
1 says log off
the other say log off safely when you're in space

I assume you're not using the launcher? Rather just directly launching the client?

I always have both buttons when I directly run the client exe however they don't appear when running via the launcher.

If you use the bugfix, you too can have it.
The bug you're fixing is the launcher, the workaround is that you go EVE Folder/bin/exefile.exe - voila!
And you, too, can have the prior functionality of both game and launcher.

Wow, Like I knew this but I thought surely I'm missing something so I kept looking for that logoff button (Thought my memory was failing me) and maybe some hidden launcher settings for multiple accounts. It just sucks so bad I knew I had to be doing something stupid but who can find anything in those mass threads they force us to digest information into.

and here, for once, it isn't me.

like the other guy said, if you're using the launcher set it to not close when the game launches.

use "multiple" installs (symlinks/windows junctions should suffice) so your client settings get saved in different %AppData% folders. Should fix that ... but then again ~CCP~ Smile.

As for the logout stuff ... well, you're just using a (very good) Excel mod, so some Microsoft "features" are to be expected. Cool

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
