I don't understand what did I do wrong here!

So I saw a notification on EVEMon about a bounty added on me and an eve-mail...
I logged on and I saw this Russian guy which I did my best trying to convince him I am not Russian at all, but he sees it the other way Evil

TBH I don't know if the dude is drunk or trying to deliver a message or he thinks I'm someone else, but one thing I'm sure about is I won't sleep tonight because my mind is still unable to process that awkward situation that happened...

Anyone understands Russian can help and try to explain the idea (if there is any) or just let me sleep well by telling me to ignore?
I really got interested in this and I do want to know what is going on the chat Lol

As soon as I logged in, he was in local with me and started a private convo all with Russian, so I had to use google translate to understand what was going on...

Seems I did miss the point of posting chat logs out of crime & punishment forums, so I have removed them
Anyways, there was a VERY weird chat happened and the common thing in it was "drink, ****** up" and stuff like that...

And these mails happened between me & him:

When you will grow up and you will stop drink alcohol, you will understand on how many your tricks are stupid.

Good luck in "Grow up".

Just wow...
I'm not going to wast my money on your head for bounty, but whatever you drink sir, is just so effective!

Good for you
And I got ****** up yes I know... (for whatever that means)

The first thing you did wrong was to post chat logs in the general discussion. Beyond that, did you gank an illegal miner? Perhapsthe bounty was a tip for good deeds.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

No I have not ganked an illegal miner, as I don't work in this business (yet
And I fixed my other bad deed (seems I need to spend more time on forums to know how it is going here)

Embrace the bounty. As you can see from my bounty, the more good things you do in Eve, the more bounty tips you may receive. Don't worry, having a bounty rarely has a negative effect on you.

The Russian response suggests that you've been smack talking or griefing and he's tired of it, but if you don't know what he's talking about then it might just be a case of mistaken identity or the guy's drunk/high.

Either way I wouldn't worry too much, just ignore the bounty and carry on.

You managed to make someone mad without even firing a shot and destroying his favorite ship. And then he even rewards you with a bounty "medal".

I bow before you sir. You have done nothing wrong, in fact you have won. I predict you a great future as capsuleer, i see greatness in you.

Take any bounty as a compliment. You did nothing "wrong". To many a player, accumulating a large bounty (and keeping as much of it intact) is a personal metric for success. Also internets happened, and I bet some alcohol was involved. Lol

EVE answer: wear that bounty with pride! Each ISK on your head makes the outlaws and generally unsavory people more jealous!

Serious answer: the bounty on your head changes nothing. All normal aggression mechanics are still in place. And any person who potentially wishes you harm will only get 20% of your ship's value from the total bounty.

You can go back to sleep.

ps: grow some thicker skin. There are worse things that people can do to you in EVE.

Listen to my friend fluffyballs here. Having a bounty does absolutely nothing to hurt you, mainly because the bounty system is too boring (even if it works, in theory) for people to actually come after you.

Also, EVE is full of drunks, idiots and drunken idiots. Don't take them too seriously.

I was in Siberia once....no, no...it's a true story, really. Not to mention a long one....

Anyhows, one evening I got talking to a Russian who was drunk on Vodka. Needless to say drunken Russians are hilarious. You sir, had a convo with a drunken Russian, of that I have no doubt.

i cant believe that you are losing sleep over some random guy who doesn't even exist in real life. Don't give it a second thought, bounties are pretty meaningless these days. I got one for pissing of a griefer who was picking on noobs in Minnie space. I've come to like it. It's like Jewelry to me, and to be worn with pride.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

no no Lol It is not like he did something bad to me or ruined my day or like that... it is just the level of what happened made my mind want so bad to feel like him and try to simulate a feeling or reason like him that can result in such behavior but I couldn't do that Lol
I like I got a sexy bounty number on me now Twisted and the fact someone hates me (along with my ECM alt Twisted )

Tell him that you are glad the bounty is so low, and that you're glad it was not much much higher, for you would be afraid to ever undock again if it was.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Don't worry about bounties OP. They practically mean nothing if you are in high sec and you do nothing wrong to cause flagging.

I once played EVE drunk. Next morning, my wallet was missing 50m ISK and I had a 50m bounty.

Checked chatlogs - I'd gone into a trade hub and posted "Next person to speak gets a 50m bounty". Someone spoke, then got mad when I bountied them and returned the favour.

Bounties have little impact, except that you will find pirates are less likely to honor a ransom if they can get a lot of bounty money for popping you.

You can get a bounty just by warping up to a station.

We can laugh and lampoon people who get scared about getting a bounty on them, but we are forgetting about the mindset of the person who sits there dispensing bounties of 111111 all day until he gets hate mail.

Back in my day, before MMOs, people who make random crank calls to get comparable kicks.

Not a day goes by without the local bowling alley being asked "do you have 14 lb balls?"
