Yall need to come down on the price here, I want to pay you to grief highsec people but I ain't paying no 1b isk for a week wardec against a bunch of miserable incursion dudes.

Last time I bought I only got trade hub camping and not any thing amusing from it. That's cool and all but if pay for gold I want gold not lead.

Not sure who you hired in the past but we have never operated purely in trade hubs unless those are the only targets online. We charge what we charge because we're good at what we do and won't work for a pittance. If we're out of your price range then go to someone else for your needs. As I said, you get what you pay for.

You're going to have to point to a specific example here, because I don't believe that you hired Pendulum of doom and what you got was trade hub camping. Since they got rid of gleaker there isn't a single person in that alliance that camps trade hubs and it was never something that was widely practiced by PoD anyway.

You're going to have to point to a specific example here, because I don't believe that you hired Pendulum of doom and what you got was trade hub camping. Since they got rid of gleaker there isn't a single person in that alliance that camps trade hubs and it was never something that was widely practiced by PoD anyway.


I couldn't care less if you believe me or not and I'm not burning this fresh awoxing alt just yet. Awoxed a horrible highsec industrial corp, found someone else more amusing to awox but wasn't done extorting this highsec industrial corp. So I paid for some entertainment and all I got was trade hub camping. So now in the same situation, except this time its a terrible incursion corp, I would pay the price were it the product offered or cheaper.

Sorry if I don't find your unsubstantiated claim with no evidence to back it up with terribly convincing. It's just that I'm personally extremely familiar with Pendulum of Doom, have been for several years and know for a fact that trade hub camping isn't something they do.

I'm all for people pointing out unsatisfactory performance if it did actually happen. And criticisms like lack of activity or inability to score kills would be plausible. The claim that all they did was camp trade hubs however, is not.

All of those entities are saying they're moving away from that, but they need it, it's apart of their function.
Smaller groups like WEPOD, BAW, etc are watchlisting their wartargets, running locates on them, and destroying their day.

And i'm pretty sure that's what you refeer to as hub camping.

The almighty goonswarm fed needs mercs for highsec harrasment? Lol.

When I first started eve... I was in a carebear corp with a egotistical nutjob as the CEO. He ran his mouth to the wrong people, and our corp endured a lasting war with BAW and POD among others. ( A personal thanks to you guys, for teaching me that eve isnt about shooting rocks.) Anyhow, they didnt camp trade hubs. They didnt camp gates. They run locates, probe down mission runners, and generally make gameplay hell for their targets. You get what you pay for.

Honestly I don't understand why that guy is bitching about this here. He obviously hired someone like marmites, those guys never bother with their contracts. They keep doing their own thing, camping pipes and hubs, and hope that red blinkies will appear on their overview for them to gank out of the hundred of wars that they get funded by people like him.

POD guys are some of the top mercs. Camping trade hubs doesn't come into their resume.

Are you going to fight me or do you expect to bore me to death with your forum pvp?

I like to call it delegating, I find a better group to awox, the mercs get money and highsec people get some ~entertainment~. Its a win for all, except when they don't deliver.

I don't often agree with Culo Duro, but he's right on this one. PoD might chase targets into a trade hub, or take a peek to see if they're undocked when they locate one there, but they don't camp the hub. I don't see them much in the pipes, either - unlike the others that Culo Duro so unkindly mentioned. - lol

You want someone who can take down almost any target, PoD is a good choice, but they're still limited by people logging in and undocking - and where the targets do those activities. A lot of targets don't venture much from the trade hub undock, please tell me how you're going to get kills on those guys if you don't visit the trade hub where they hang out?

I would like to point out that we only camp trade hubs in certain cases. No. 1 being a client has asked us to and No. 2 being if we have a fleet rolling out and we need to pick stuff up then we will hang around for a little bit.
But so far we have never as an alliance stayed in a trade hub for maybe more than 30 minutes. You can see that in our killboards. And before you say 'but you have people getting kills in trade hubs' yes, one person usually, not the entire alliance.
And to counter the inevitable 'you don't do anything other than gate camp' we are at war with a lot of people, and a lot of traffic moves around between trade hubs so we will naturally camp those gates, but at the same time as that we have a roaming fleet running at the same time. That link shows we are spread out, and are not just in trade hubs.
So please don't say we are only trade hub campers when we aren't.

Just saying, he asked for a specific example, ie. War was declared on (insert corp) kills or lack thereof were (insert kills).

He didn't ask for your life story about awoxing alts and all that rubbish.

Yep and I'd love to give that specific example, except for it will burn my awoxing alt. That alt still has some mileage in it, so should I tack on lack of critical reasoning skills to my complaint?
