This is precious. You come with 21 ships because Mastercard have srsly tanked ships and you need a fleet that big to crack them? No you don't - you only need to keep them in the fight long enough to crack their tank. And if you have 21 ships, you aren't going to see a chance of that fight.

OK you totally lost me there when did I come with a 21 ship fleet?. the most ive travelled in to dod was about 10.

Anyway not going to continue to derail this thread.

Have fun out there Big smile

Sorry Jove - didn't check who you were with since the comment sounded like another Forsaken response as to why they needed that 21 man fleet.

You can't really camp the Dodixie gate in Botane and expect no one to notice. I saw at least 2 reports of your fleet sitting there before you came in. Surely, you don't think that you could bait Mastercard into firing on you so you could warp in your massive fleet and kill them in the 1 minute to de-aggress and dock. They know the game and they knew where your fleet was waiting.

It is clear that you don't really want fights - at least not with Mastercard - you want kills. Sad that Mastercard doesn't rate the same as Break-A-Wish and that you wouldn't bring something they would actually fight. Tell me, have you even had a real 'fight' since the Break-A-Wish thing, or have you merely blobbed everyone? Active memberships don't need to go out in 1 fleet (or hang around the gates in the pipe) they could go on roams of half a dozen each - cover more of EVE with your presence that way too. And you'd get more fights (though probably also more losses and fewer kills - but isn't it the fight you want - isn't that why you left the Whores In Space?)

By the way, Break-A-Wish doesn't undock to fights they can't win for the most part. That's how they maintain a 70:1 success ratio on Battleclinic. So they knew they could take you guys down without losses before they engaged.

And this IS my main, though I do appreciate the compliment that I might be a Mastercard or Sovereign alt because I mention them. So what is your obsession with Sovereign Infinity?

Right, you were hired and a client wants us under dec forever.

You know, if we had a client that was getting so little for their money, we'd advise them it wasn't worth the isk. But I guess you guys don't think enough of your clients to make such recommendations.

I've also figured out why you guys are so enamored with EVE-Kill instead of Battleclinic. EVE-Kill doesn't punish you for the blobs you like to use. You kill this much isk and don't lose any so you get the full accounting. But Battleclinic looks at WHAT you're using for those kills. It has set values and the points are shared among all of those participating. So 3 frigates vs. a battlecruiser is a really good kill, but 3 (or 20) battlecruisers against a cruiser gets you almost nothing. So Battle BV (the top corp in Sovereign Infinity) is ranked at a little over 500 while Red Dawn Mercenaries are down past 3000 in rank. Shoot, our training corp ranks higher than that, and it's younger as well.

EVE-Kill also punishes those who are not dps dealers. Logi doesn't get anything on either board, but tackle and ewar get a full share of points on Battleclinic.

And, no, you're aren't affecting us very much. We travel where we want, when we want, chasing our war targets wherever they happen to go. And, btw, those kills we get with the frigates we fly through the pipe make our Battleclinic stats look really good.

Mad? Hardly - you guys are the ones who love the method of recording kills that ignores tackle and ewar, two types of aggression that have just as much value as dps. I mean if the target escapes, you can't kill them and if the target is jammed, webbed or neuted, it makes them easier to kill. But if all you do is dps (I did see a Condor at one of your gates camps tho) then you have no worries using EVE Kill. It's only when you progress into the more tactical uses of EVE possibilities that you encounter how EVE kill cheats many of your pilots.

Not saying Battleclinic is perfect (clearly it isn't!) I'm just saying it provides a far better metric to measure the success of pilots than EVE Kill.

For instance, take Takamatsu Doko (formerly of the Whores in Space so you guys ought to know him) on Battleclinic he's ranked number 4, but does not show up at all in the top 20 pilots on EVE Kill. He does most of his killing in a merlin so he's a little limited in the straight amount of isk he's able to take down, but he does it in a merlin so Battleclinic rewards him with high points when he takes down battlecruisers and battleships with it. A truly awesome pilot who isn't properly appreciated by EVE Kill's methods of ranking.

Confirming this is true. I can't even remember the last time I had to stay docked though, so it's safe to say we'll fight (and win).
Vixanda Alzae wrote:

Not really. We get a 70:1 success ratio because we're awesome and the Unicorn Battle Bus is very hard to beat.

Someone from Forsaken has obviously pissed you off.. either that or you're just a forum troll which is kinda win / win because it means you're irrelevant either way.

More accolades from me for these guys. It is NOT easy finding a good Merc corp.

Very flexible plans, excellent communication skills, and the best customer support so far.

That has been my experience so far.

Give them a shout.

Amusing to see walls of text from GemFireStorm and Vixanda Alzae

They seem genuinely upsetBig smile

Maybe its because they are female players?

Who's upset?

But it is really awesome that you figured out I was a female player. And GemFireStorm is too - I think. She used to be in my corp after all, and I was the one who told her what was going on in this thread (we girls talk to each other - lol.)

Or maybe I'm just acting like what I think a female player would do because I have a female toon.

This is just too funny.

BTW, I've noticed that Forsaken Asylum has taken up another Whores in Space aspect - they've decced half (figurative) of EVE.

The problem is The trainees are the only ones undocking or clueless enough to actually undock. I noticed the same thing when I was in BAW and they had a war with you guys. Your older members docked quickly when the BAW machine drew close...

Personally I would to.... there is fighting and then there is loosing your ship in blaze of glory.

So shouldn't you guys be making up for it, and doing some guerilla warfare and killing FA?

I guess you missed the whole thing about Sovereign Infinity and pipe travel - we're traveling the pipe all the time without incident. One of our trainees did something wrong and got caught - hey, he's a trainee and he's learning. No big deal.

As for killing FA - we don't care about FA - they aren't our targets and we're not going to spend time and effort on a group that decced us. If we ally in, or if we dec a corp THEN we have targets. FA is simply a nuisance that we often need to get past to go after the guys who are our targets.
