Doesn't it break the TOS that CCP T20 is apparently disguising himself as CCP Navigator?

So.... CCP explain to me why I should bother subbing again? (You can convince me if one of these appears in my hangar for each of my alts)

There's a right way and a wrong way to do in-game rewards for community sites.

Right way:
Announce a program on eveonline.com and solicit nominations, then select recipients through some open and unbiased selection.

Wrong way:
Here, take these ships but don't tell anyone.

it's the secrecy here that I find upsetting. People get gold watches all the time, even when they do not deserve it at all.
Getting a reward for deeds done, good or bad in EVE should not have to upset anybody.

The thing is why the (stupid) secrecy?

Why instead of having us create yet another ccp_why_you_not_usy_brainy_could_have_seen_this_coming_miles_away thread, why not being open about this?
Why not have us celebrate along with those who got a price for doing this or that and obviously feeling a little bit jealous we didn't get/won the price ourselves?

Instead you feed us with feelings that something 'fishy' is going on here, ELSE WHY HIDE IT like a thief in the night?

And yes, giving 30! away in one run cheapens it for those who got/won one before.
When will you ever learn that people value spaceship pixels that are rare and worth a whole lot of ingame money?

Hey CCP, I understand you want to encourage people who do things to benefit the EVE community.....but, you really need to figure out a way to limit the impact that your gifts do to the rest of the game.

I mean, make them account bound, prevent them from being sold/traded/contracted, something like that. You get your nice "good job!" gift, the rest of the community doesn't get pissed when you hand out the equivalent of 30bil ISK.

Compared to gambling, ruining your family's lives with a combination of addiction to hard drugs and compulsive self-abuse seems positively healthy and a respectable use of time and energy.
Anything that proceeds from gambling is therefore going to be a twisted step down.
Sometimes CCP seems to be full of people who would love to play with the grown-ups but don't have the plain and country simple nous to not defecate where they eat.
