Take one pre-made frozen chocolate cake round (8 or 9 inch preferable), with one can of cherry pie filling and a large tub of Cool Whip. You will also need a jar of Maraschino cherry's and chocolate sprinkles.

Using a sharp bread knife cut it horizontally into 3 layers.

To Assemble, place the first layer of chocolate cake onto a fancy cake stand. Cover with some Cherry pie filling followed by the second cake layer. Upon that you spread a portion of Cool whip, and again topped with the last chocolate cake layer.

Ice the assembled cake with remainder of cool Whip and sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on side. With the left over cherry pie filling, place on top of cake. Using an icing bag and star shaped tip, place rosettes along outer edge of the cake top. Garnish rosettes with maraschino cherry's.

Voi-La!!
