Regarding this dev blog...

Is it supposed to work right now? All launcher.exe does for me is turn up in the task manager for a few seconds and then disappear, without presenting a window or anything.

The launcher works for me. Only problem is it says Tranquility on the screen yet logs in to sisi, major problem there

You need to launch it through the launcher.exe in your eve folder rather than the normal sisilauncher. (It'll throw you an error on first launch, most likely, just launch it again and hit play and you should be fine)

Doesn't work for me. It turns up in task manager and then disappears. I never even see a window or anything like the OP.

Is the SISI launcher supposed to do anything because now it just starts SISI instead of going through the process it used to?

The launcher for me updates but doesn't work. It updated and then I went into the folder to double click on the exe and it does nothing. It shows up in the processes for a second and then nothing. Now i have SISI in a 2nd folder away from my TQ client because I didn't want it with SISI. Maybe thats the problem. I don't know.

I don't know if this is possible but can you just put the download up for the launcher? Obviously for some of us it didn't come through how it should or something else. I have windows 7 64 bit. Its as up to date as I can make it. The World of Tanks launcher works just fine. Thats off topic i know but apparently i can run that.

Launch -> Update -> Nothing

The launcher always behaves like this for me.

Same here.

-ran Launcher.exe
-downloaded Update
-download finished, window disappeared
-waited... nothing
-ran Launcher again......nothing

It pops up in task man, but only for a sec.
Do I need to make any special changes to get it to run with SISI?

Just did another update to the launcher that doesn't actually fix the startup error, but instead, now the launcher actually should show the error message instead of failing silently.

it would be super duper If you who have not been able to get the launcher to start up could test out the new version and post the error in the new error window in this thread.

Just tested this... The launcher updated and still nothing. Trying to launch it again and nothing... No error message and no crash-log.

As said by the others before. It shows up in the task manager (Processes tab) for about a second and then dissappear again.

Also, your chin is sexy.

I guess they pulled it until it is working properly. Better to add it later when it works then add it in the state it was and get a ton of bug reports on it

I'm clicking on the launcher and nothing, No error window or anything.

All I have is Launcher.exe and launcher.dat. Am I missing anything? Sisi Launcher says everything is up to date.

OK, I updated the Duality client and the launcher works...

... however, it does say it's going to be connecting to Tranquility, which is a lie.

edit: The settings window is ugly and the "repair client" button actually opens the settings window.

Indeed, hence why "public alpha" is not a good idea unless your name is Toady One the Great.
