Hi my name is rome and I was a highsec carebear.

I use to mine, mission, manufacture and pretty much anything indy for the last few years in eve, now that has changed. I have tasted miners blood and I like it. A few days ago I decided to use all the goons loot and salvage i picked up during their so called ice interdiction. I made a dozen cats fitted them with blasters and off I went to gank. I was nervous at first because I ddint think I could actually pull a gank off but it worked. I didnt think I would feel good about ganking but damn they get so pissed off when you do gank those miners.

Is this what happens when you get bored of eve and just throw caution to the wind. Whats my next step should I go the way of the pirate I am really considering it. Should I sell my 300+ BPO's and invest in a few hundred cats?

Killrights are funny I ganked a miner then he made the KR available to his corp. I thought lets get rid of this KR so I undocked in a rookie ship with no implants low and behold they open fire and I escape in my pod. KR is fullfilled so I can continue to gank their corp what a great life.

This post is therapy for me fyi so troll away.

You should sell your me your t2 blueprints... If you have any!

And to answer the rest of your question:

If you pick up the loot after you gank someone I'm sure that will allow you to buy a few more catalysts. Furthermore I'm sure it wouldn't be reasonable to sell all of your manufacturing stuff. What are you going to do when you run out of money? Wouldn't you need some of those blueprints to make money again?

I thought of that but after all these years I have ratholed a good bank that should keep me funded for atleast a year. What I would like to find is a corp who ganks alot in caldari highsec that would hire me.

If your bank's good, why don't you just keep the BPOs anyway? - It's not like they are eating bread or something...

I see it from a standpoint of keeping options open. Why sell them as long as there is no need to?

Put all your BPs and Indy stuff in station containers if you want to leave that life. As previously said selling it all is pointless and disadvantageous.

Your right but it would be more symbolic to sell them sort of like im turning in my indy chains and turning over a new leaf.

Point taken.

That would be a perfectly reasonable personal decision IMO. Shed the skin, get reborn as your new self.

My hat is off to you; good luck on your journey!

^This, pretty much.

and honestly, being able to run your own catalysts does have some benefits ... and depending on what other screwing around CCP has planned with mining/mineral acquisition, might become necessary.

Keep manufacturing as passive income to fund your new pvp lust!

Dont sell the BPOs unless you have a t2 BPO which are worthless and you should give those to me.

Yep, sell them all.

I was the usual derpy high sec carebear for a year or so until I was so bored of eve I decided I would quit playing.

To celebrate no longer giving a **** about internet spaceships I decided to pod a random and destroyed my ability to access high sec safely.

Eve changed for me that day.
That was the day Eve became fun and I realized that blowing peoples **** up and having them blow my **** up is what it's all about.

As far as your next step:
Next step is you move to low sec.
