Clarification on Capacitor Battery "Reflect" Effect

I was wondering if anyone knew, in detail, the way that cap batteries reflect neuting/nosing.

For example, if I have a battery fitted, and I get neuted, is that 12.5% reflection (as per attributes) applied to the enemy in addition to 100% of the neut effects on my ship, or do I instead only get neuted for 87.5% ( 100 - 12.5 ), and the remaining 12.5% is then applied to the enemy who is neuting me?

If it is the latter, does anyone know if any component of this works in PvE? I think the most impactful example of this would be when considering sleepers, for the following 2 reasons:

1) Can you reduce the incoming neuts of sleepers via a cap battery?
2) Does the neut reflection then count towards EWAR effects that have a tendency to affect their choosing targets to attack?

I have be unable to find any comments on these aspects of cap battery reflection thus far, so thanks in advance if you have any input.

Only decent looking thread i found with a quick search. I dont know much about it. But when you expect your capacitor to get wrecked. I always bring my trusty cap booster. Nothing gets you going quite like 800GJ charge. Lol

Thanks for the link.

Looks like like I'll have to test this out though.

Will post back when I determine something. :)

Cap batteries are super powerful in a fleet that has cap transfers because it gives you buffer and the reflect can hurt the enemy a lot while you will get that cap back. I always try to fit my logi ships with batteries nowadays and it works like a charm.
They can also be powerful on amarr ships to make the lasers be able to run for a longer time and make them less susceptible to neuting.

From another thread i read before the reflect is a chance that reflects the entire cycle but that might be wrong.

It's a constant amount that gets reflected each time, at least according to someone who tested it some time back. Was in some thread I posted in about this a while back... Too lazy to search it up now =)
