Points that work as follow

You kill alone without any help from others a ship you gain some glory points

You kill a tech 2 or tech 3 ship while you are in tech 1 ship a lot of glory points

You lose your ship by one ship lose glory points

You kill a ship helped by other ships lose glory points

You kill alone more than one ship gain glory points

Maybe lower sec status would give higher glory points

Tiered unique rewards(from glory points) that you can obtain only once and the best reward the harder to get

This idea is so more people leave high sec and not afraid to get ganked all the time.

OF COURSE this is for PVP and not PVE kills.

Do you lose glory points if you kill someone for no reason other than shts and giggles? Do you lose glory points if you kill a ship that was too easy of a target for the ship you are flying? Do you lose glory points for attacking an indi ship? Do you lose glory points for killing a younger player than you? Do you lose glory points for using a fleet booster? Do you lose glory points if the pilot is in a PvE fit ship? Do you lose glory points for gate camping?

I don't understand the arbitrary nature of what you think is good or bad. It seems like different people would have different views on this depending on how they play the game?

So you think using a fleet is a cheap kill, but picking on n00bs or definiteness ships is glorious? I just wanted to make sure I understand where you are coming from. My questions were meant rhetorically, I was not looking for information.

You play the game one way, others play the game another way. I fail to see how your method deserves a higher level of recognition than the way other people play.

So, I gank my alt repeatedly, farm massive amounts of these points, and spend them on whatever shiny thing they can buy, right?

You have your glory points on battleclinic.

Eve needs no such thing.

If 3 assault cruisers kill 50 cruisers in a show of skill, placement, and strategy they'd actually lose points. Your system is therefor bad and you should feel bad.

Probably some of you didn't understand the concept. With something like that we woud see less ganking better PVP FIGHTS ONE VS ONE.And with CCPS great maths this couldwork and be balanced .

0/10 go scan down a glory hole and don't come back.

Before posting it is advised to check if you comprehend EVE. If you're capable of defining the following: Honour, elite pvp, duel, good, evil in the scope of New Eden, you likely don't.

There are some groups of like minded people that get together for 1v1 fights already. Find them in game.

No, we'd see people farming the hell out of it and saying 'look how many GP I have, that means I must always honour 1v1s!', then dropping ten of their mates on you anyway.

Yup I understand eve after one year. The most ganking game ever created and not the great PVP other games have.Anyway since most of you like ganking I don't mind .Oh and i never saw honour in this game but it's ok.That s why we aren t going to see more people in this game and only 10000 active users will be around all the time.

So you never left highsec then? Game's growing, and there is, excluding downtime, pretty much always more than 10k people online, according to this: http://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility

Plenty of PVP around. Some people are even weird enough to have some kind of honour system. How would space-bushido encourage more people to play anyway?

But I often dual box 2 pvp chars at same time so am I being counted once or twice for active players ?

I ask cause I want both my charactors to get the glory they properly deserve.

honour - what both pilots have before engaging
elite pvp - when I win and the other guy loses
duel - the mechanism wherein one (or both) pilots engaged loses honour
good - Chribba
Evil - The Mittani
