They are taking away our poco's and I can't say anything cause I refuse to fight for my income.

I hear level IV missions still pay out well.

Well for now the will...until CCP nerfs them to.

I dont know why CCP dont just get it over with and make the whole f ' ing game low sec because that is the direction they want and are slowly headed

uh no they wont...some mega alliance will move in and set up there customs offices tax the crap out of everyone else but there own blues. And being so big they would have the man power to fight off anyone who tries to attack them. Ya it may make for some interesting fights but it will kill PI mark my words.

It might kill PI for you.

It would significantly improve it for them.

If so, Fantastic! I'll spend many an hour jumping from system to system. Potshotting POCOs and driving the many PI Corps into a frenzy.

There's something satisfying about poking a wasp's nest and watching the havoc ensue.

Moreso if you have a cloaking device, several safes probed out ahead of time, and are good at smack talking in local.

This will be afk cloaking all over again. Twisted

well, you'll get concordokken for taking pot shots at POCOs (well, at least from the way I'm reading things -- the "non-CONCORD" structures are the loot hoover, mini base, cyno jammer, and POS siphon)... so you'll have to dec the owners first ...

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

No reason this should be a major bar... Just pick a Corp that has a lot of Offices, and have at it.

Think about it. A siphon, A "space yurt," POCOs that announce on attack and only give a suspect timer! It's going to be Awesome! Just when I started thinking I was getting bored in Highsec Twisted

Only downside I can foresee is this may impede on the amount of time spend out at night drinking hard and running game.

I'm actually rather surprised no one has really caught on to what the problem is going to be.

Let me tell you what likely will happen:

1. Goonswarm and other big entities will come in and sweep the vast majority of POCOs out of interbus and into their own back pockets. There will be varying degrees of success, but likely because of the skillful organization of Goonswarm, they will be the most successful. Especially since they already have marked which critical planets (I'm thinking Plasma, etc.) are the primary ones to hit.

2. Taxes will be at or below Interbus for those POCOs in Goonswarm. Taxes at other POCOs will vary wildly based on the short-term or long-term logic of their current leaders and industrial bosses.

3. PI'ers will move and adjust to fit with their profit level. This will invariably mean that more people will access Goon (and like minded) controlled POCOs because of their consistancy in keeping that tax rate at a certain level. Profits for more short-term minded entities will fall because they did not see it as a profit center for anyone outside of their own group.

4. Comfort will set in. Time will pass.

5. Goonswarm announces another interdiction, this time raising the taxes to 100% on all their POCOs and leaving them there while they profit from the increased cost of POS fuels and T2 materials.

6. PI'ers will move and whine again, fully ignoring the fact that now was probably a good time to organize and be prepared.

The Goonswarm leadership has proven itself time and time again to be very capable at staging long term, high quality operations. I would expect nothing less from them this time around. Why people think it would happen any other way boggles my mind.

CCP only wants our money. And they get triple the monthly subscription fee from enraged players who don't know when to quite all the better. Pirate

Two opposing views. It will be interesting to see which becomes a reality. I see either of them being possible.

As for the doom and gloom predicted, with this change and others alluded to by CCP Seagull and other devs, I see it temporary at best. I left EVE for 7 months because mining was just not fun anymore and I remember all the Emails I got from CCP. First there was "Mining ship changes" then "Record ore prices" , and finally "Crimewatch changes". Based on that I must assume I wasnt the only one to stop sending money to CCP for my game subscription. Move forward to today with DUST not doing so well after a large investment, any decent loss of game subscriptions will likely result in" unemployment line Seagull", and High sec getting overbuffed just like mining ships were. ( Yes I am a miner and I love the changes, but in all honesty even I must admit they over did it.) This time I will hang around, even if just to keep the training que flowing, because I am not going to lose needed SP for when things re-balance.

Yep and the impact of all this will be centered on Jita no doubt. Probably about 12% of all high sec business but the most concentrated business center in high sec well for now anyway.

I can't recall a single case of EVE Soothsaying to ever come to fruition. Ever.

Pffft, bring on the highsec POCO's. I plan to annoy the hell out the owners of these stations P

I neither agree nor disagree with them, I just fancy rocking the boat with these bad boys Lol
