Scammers poseing as game hosts

anyone who has been in jita and elsewhere ill have seen the scams of people pretending to double your isk etc as a funny game as they put it

surely this is misrpresentation of the characters as game hosts if you follow the rules they set out in the bio and dont follow through with due payout they are faking there own representation of there rules and role in the eve universe

surely these people should have there accounts banned and isk refunded to people who played the game in good faith and followed game rules as represented on the game hosts bio

Erotica 1 doubled my ISK.

Their game isn't endorsed by CCP. Thats the only way I see what you suggest happening.
Basically when your in a trade hub, live by the rule "If its too good to be true, it probably is."

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

If you're referring to Erotica 1's game, the wording and the rules are very specific (which is the scam) but, supposedly, if you follow the rules to the letter you will get paid. Never tried it myself, I like my ISK as it is.

She has a good racket going on. It's amazing how many people can't follow instructions. I made 400m off her (not going to risk any more in case it is a scam, but seemed legit)

What the TOS, as vaguely worded as it is, really applies to but is not explicitly stated is that if you scam from CCP's premium customers who pay for things with their CC then it applies. Otherwise, you're SOL.
