"Yeah, yeah, I use to rage like a child over Resident Evil 2."

That's what we're saying. That's the problem. I'm sure your parents were wondering why you were screaming at the TV like an idiot over a stupid video game.
Lol if that's what you chose to take away from the post then feel free. I find it hard to believe that any gamer has NEVER been disappointed by a reversal of progress in a game they were enjoying. Being disappointed and "screaming like a child" are 2 different things.
And this is the point. It's not about whether the response is over the top, it's about how people like you automatically jump into the "you're sad about pixels, haha" comment, while it's perfectly normal to be disappointed with the reversal of progress. Like you're some kind of gaming machine that has never ever been disappointed by a game. I call bullshit on that.

I completely stand by my opinions on this matter. After viewing the TOS and EULA however, I am now unsure as to whether a post of this nature violates any of the terms agreed upon. As such I have removed the content until which time I can received an official response to a petition placed.

However, enjoy the discussion!

Your premise is fundamentally flawed, as repeatedly explained to you in this thread. You can't remove content, only moderators can. In 20 years you can google this on eve-search and see how childish your thinking was.

Since when?!?!?!?
Leave my "EVE: Spreadsheets in space" alone!

Since forever. Without spaceships blowing up, those spreadsheets would not be needed since nothing would ever happen and all the numbers would be entirely static and without any need for calculation. Blink
Sure they would! I'd make stuff, sell it, buy other stuff, and refine it back into minerals. It's the circle of life! *breaks into song*

3. Ranting is prohibited.

A rant is a post that is often filled with angry and counterproductive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and is helpful in development of the game and community. Rants are disruptive, and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise and clear manner while avoiding going off on rambling tangents.

4. Personal attacks are prohibited.

Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another forum user. Posts of this nature are not beneficial to the community spirit that CCP promote and as such they will not be tolerated.

22. Post constructively.

Negative feedback can be very useful to further improve EVE Online provided that it is presented in a civil and factual manner. All users are encouraged to honestly express their feelings regarding EVE Online and how it can be improved. Posts that are non-constructive, insulting or in breach of the rules will be deleted regardless of how valid the ideas behind them may be. Users are also reminded that posting with a lack of content also constitutes non-constructive posting.

As OP has blanked his post and the thread is devolving into flaming, it is locked.

Competitive game. Game has rules. Play within the rules is valid. If you're the terrorists in Counter Strike you aren't an evil psychopath. You're a guy playing a game. Cops and Robbers would be no fun without the Robbers.

Awoxing, ganking, pirating, are all part of Eve the game and should cause you no more pain than rounding Free Parking and watching your 10yr old daughter purchase hotels to go on Boardwalk and Park Place. If being cleaned out on Boardwalk doesn't upset you to the point of raging IRL, then watching your Orca explode to the guy you invited to corp 10min ago shouldn't either. If it does make you rage, then possibly competitive games are not your thing. Maybe try a nice game of Shoots and Ladders.
