This is all a good thing. I, along with many other old veterans are awash with hope at what may now be possible

Just don't let that hope stagnate on the vine for too long this time, eh?

I don't think they're actually getting rid of all of the tony g lore; I just read Templar one, and now things seem like they might even be starting to ADHERE to them more. There is a lot more going on behind the scenes than you think. And Jamyl isn't crazy- there is another being in her head. Jovians, sleepers, and the Enheduanni are going to become VERY important. Big smile

Read the books! Templar One is amazing.. The sleepers are much more than you think they are. And read Theodicy too- it's by the same guy, and one character is in both.. He's one of my favorite race, and he really is awesome.

The lore isn't disappearing- it's becoming even more relevant Big smile

I'm glad things are working out for the Caldari, Gallente and Amarr RPers. At the same time, I'm very unhappy about how things are unfolding for us Minmatar players.

First the killing off of Midular, the Republic's main proponent for peace and diplomacy, then the unprovoked incursions into the Federation. Falcon, I can see your point regarding shaking up the status quo a bit. The game universe shouldn't remain static. That leads to stagnation. But the actions should be believable. You're filling out the dimensions of the other empires while reducing the Matari leadership to absurd heights of either incompetence or buffoonery. Why would rational and presumably savvy politicians like Shakor or the new Tribal Council sanction such a foolish course of action that would certainly alienate the Republic's oldest ally? Why would the Republic Fleet bungle their attack so badly? Is it the story team's intent that the Minmatar become the (irrational) belligerents of Eve now? The stereotypical "mad tribals" who act without regard for the possible consequences? I seriously didn't sign up for that when I chose to play a Minmatar character.

Sorry but, it strains all credulity to have the Republic act in so reckless a fashion. To add insult to injury after the events of Colelie there's been complete silence; no explanation from the Republic and no reaction from the Federation. What the heck's going on with this whole plot line?

I'd really like to get a response from you as to if/when we can expect to see this storyline developed and why we Minmatar loyal RPers have been tossed under the bus for no apparent reason.

Yeah, I'm more than a little peeved by these developments.

How about introducing some new interesting characters instead of killing the few ones that actually are (Midular) ? Aritcio Kor-Azor was a good attempt at that.

I still think CCP should write novels retelling the events of corporate nullsec. That always felt like the real Eve to me, not whatever goes on in Empire space.

That's your opinion. Those of us who live in Empire space would disagree and could say the same thing about null.
