Dunno if this has already been spotted, but just in case...

Apart from the obvious mango drink, the name has been niggling me for a day or so.

Turns out there's a random track 'Rubycon' by Tangerine Dream (1975?) which I have on an Electrospective album for cardancing.

Youtube vid for Rubycon is a bit... err, well familiar looking. Check for yourself.

Any dev want to own up to being a Tangerine Dream fan? P

The company offered CCP a rivers worth of the drink if they would name their expansion after the brand.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I like Tangerine Dream. Movements of a Visionary is my favorite.

I used to drive a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for about 2 years.

That lump of dung was in the shop more than it was in my garage. I really hope that Eve's version wont be the same way.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Finally, an expansion named after me.

well that's what you get for buying a chrysler product.
Also, rubicon, at least in the way ccp's probably using it, means "the point of no return", which is fitting since this is the expansion that capsuleers start to break away from the empires. pretty clever if you ask me.
