I would also be happy to give free advice on how to manage 3rd party developers to make sure you get what you need,

Not sure what else I can say except for ignor the haters and if you like what they offer for the price they are charging then go for it, it will be a reality.

$1000 for a lottery website that has given out 32 billion ISK doesn't seem like a good investment to me, and your quite extreme offer of defence for Vixen is well, if I were a suspicious person I would be having suspicions about now Cool.

I have recently been pondering about having a [vanity] website for my in-game business, I might give you a shout, or you can contact me to remind me ;). One thing I'm sure of is that I wouldn't give anyone the ISK up front for this, but having a 3rd Party hold the ISK until the project is completed would be fine. Starting smaller might be good for you too?

Vixen Soul wrote:

And ISK is that motivation? Once you have the ISK what is your motivation to deliver on the website?

Well, most people who are looking to invest 100b are looking for passive profits. This website can have a monthly subscription plan that automatically makes sure the people using this website are making monthly payments to your eve account. If they don't the website will notify them they need to, and if they still don't, their account will be restricted until they do make the payment.

It can also for for a very large coalition who wishes to gain an edge in the game. I honesty don't think this tool is good for just one corp leader.

This website that doesn't exist yet can do some great things, I'm sure. Also there are a lot better ways to passively earn ISK on 100b than giving it to someone who may or may not make you an amazing website that taxes their alliance members. I'm sure said alliance members will start paying their taxes when they cannot use this website too.

Hello Elizabeth Norn,

About the lottery website, It was originally $500. I actually coded for a Chinese client on the Singularity server. It fell through though and he didn't want to pay for it. As a result, I created a thread offering to sell the software I had developed. He purchased it, and then paid another $500 to update it. The update hasn't been applied yet, but as a result of the lack of update, the site hasn't been marketed very consistently yet.

You're right. His "extreme" offer was quite kind of him. It's because believe it or not, I'm a nice person. We have actually become friends as a result of working together on discussing ideas for his lotto website. Also, he's kind of a mentor. He is a director of web developers at his work, and I am a young developer who changes him cheap prices for hobby work. I asked him to reference me to show you guys I'm not a scammer. He was happy to help me.

About the 3rd party holding payment. My company requires all clients to pay US 60% up front. I am willing to make an exception with this project considering how large it is. For small projects, you will have to make the payment or we won't work with you. Honestly, business is good right now. If I wanted another project with some guy telling me what to do, I'd pick up another client. So you don't have much grounds for negotiation here. I'm more than willing to say no.

The ISK for motivation yes. And the connection. Why did you completely forget that part? I dedicated an entire paragraph to it. Perhaps its your bias that's forgetting?

The website that doesn't exist yet? I'm selling two things here. A vision, and my services to bring that vision to life. It can do great things because it's a great idea. I know how unwilling you are to offer me that little bit of kindness, but I wouldn't be in the position I am if I relied on the opinions of others to guide the confidence I put in the decisions I make.

http://soulcreative.org/lotto/test.php

Your code is riddled with errors and CSRF vulnerabilities. If this is an example of your kind of work, I'd revisit the notion of charging 100b isk for it. And if you legitimately did get 1000$ for your work, then good on you sir. You managed to sell a polished turd to a fool.

In your forum thread back in May regarding http://scovillescale.co.uk, 30b isk changed hands on that website in a period of less than one week. Since that time, over 4 months later, that number has not increased at all.

Everything you say sounds nice. Everything you present looks fishy as hell.

Hi Vistrix Starshadow,

First thing, yes, there are errors on the SoulCreative hosted Lotto site since obviously we now work on the project at the official lotto website. You're looking at a link from an old thread. So desperate to discredit you are.

Also, yes, it did receive 30b isk in quite a short time, and then we stopped promoting the website because we wanted to do the next update for it. It has taken some time to do that update because like I said, this is a hobby project. He only paid $500. We work on it when we have time. We currently have much higher paying clients right now who take precedence.

You wouldn't know what is fishy or not. You know nothing about development or my company. You troll me this entire day trying to point out flaws for what reason? Someone with a mind that thinks in the way yours does certainly cannot afford what I'm offering here.

Are both of these quotes true?

I mean no offence, but it seems from your posts that you don't really understand Eve, it is different from the real world as there is much less accountability on the part of every player. What your real life clients do should have little bearing on what your clients paying you in ISK should do. I too would say I am nice person, do you believe me? I am not however naive enough to hand over 1-100b, unless the exception you mention is that you would permit the use of a third party. You are the one asking for funding, it might "pay" to be a little more humble.

Vixen Soul wrote:

"ISK for motivation" - If you cannot see any reason why someone would, someone who is admitting that they are both motivated by ISK and "kinda lazy", after being given ISK to provide a service, not provide that service then I don't know what to say. Even with the protection apparently (I will be creating a petition to see if what GM Lelouch said still applies) offered, why would I take such a risk? I did not get what I have in Eve by taking ridiculous risks, however contradictory that is with Eve's ideals. If ISK is connections then I have quite a few, and I'm sure I have a few real connections, but all of them are far too sensible to hand out their ISK willy nilly based on what I've seen so far.

The website you have described in this thread does not exist. Someone who wants a website doesn't want a vision ("A mental image produced by the imagination."), unless they buy into marketing tripe or buzzwords. I certainly don't want a vision, I want a website as physical as digital data can be, a working piece of software that I can view with my own eyes.

One last question; is your boyfriend, Knave Soul, still the designer for your company?

Could you clarify whether your offer includes the use of a third party? Answering my questions would be lovely too, because as a potential investor/customer, their answers actually matter to me.

No, you can't use a 3rd party. You are, however, free to have a look at my portfolio, and even take a peak at some of our current work. You will find our company is reputable. If that isn't evidence enough, than I'm sorry. Also, no, my boyfriend isn't the designer of my company. I don't have a boyfriend.

Ooh this thread is such a classic example of a great idea =3

Tho... Either make the damn thing or stop trying too sell a fictional idea.

From what i saw of the other web-pages you made theres is NO way you can make this idea working and functional.

But please... prove me wrong, i would love too see it.
hell i could even pay for something that cool.

but you can't prove anything you say, and you refuse too accept any kind of 3rd party holding isk or values.

Can you give one solid reason that anyone could ever trust any ISK too you? without using your alt's? =)

And don't throw the troll card on me. I'm serious... It's a great idea, i just can't see you realising it.

I've already offered a payment solution that solves the trust issue. If you don't like it, that's your problem. I've already gotten a couple evemails from interested clients.

You know, when I was selling my Lotto system on these forums, people made the same argument. It still sold, and look, that same buyer is in this thread saying I'm to be trustworthy. You think because a couple people show skepticism on this thread, that interested parties aren't contacting me privately? Think again. I'm not desperate because I don't need to be.

This is getting monotonous answering the same questions over and over. I think I will stop posting on this thread.

From this point on, if anyone would like to contact me with questions, you can eve mail me.

I don't know what portfolio you guys think you are looking at, but our recent projects are as follows:

http://yswine.com - A website for a small Italian wine company based in China.
http://hainanuniversity.com - The first website of our business. I got free tuition in Chinese at the uni in exchange for making this.
http://luna.soulcreative.org - This is an active web community for sociopaths. I own it, and my company wrote the code from scratch.
http://scovillescale.co.uk - This is the website I sold to the nice man who vouched for me earlier in the thread.

In about a week, we will finish up our latest project for a Chinese commercial tourism website, and I'll post that as well at that time.

It's only professional too answer the questions and just stick with it =)

I'm just saying tho, if you we're more open about 3rd party ( which is no risk for you, only the customer ) it would open for more people. your payment solution is still "send me ISK, you can trust me"

I really hope you succeed in making this sit and that you manage too make it popular and usable =)
Best of luck.

I'm tired of this. I don't care if I'm wrong and will be made to look like a fool and regret this post after a good sleep, in fact I welcome that because it depresses me less to know someone isn't as terrible at this as I think they are.

Please see http://www.wikihow.com/Lie and read 3, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 14 specifically (13 and 14 especially), 10 and 12 would be great right now.

For now we can ignore the obviously shill recommendations for your services in the following thread and focus on one piece of information everyone seems to be in on from the get-go.

2012

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=141089

"I have spoken with Vixen Soul and have now contracted her and her BF to make me a website that shows my Monthly income vs expenditure."

"Have just had my brand new lotto site uploaded to my server and now in the beta testing stage www.eveforce.com i have to say im very impressed with the site and how fast Vixen and her BF can do this it took about 3 days and for a very good price."

"Just checked out the Final Design for my fianance and Order tracker. I have chosen to have it hosted By Vixen and Knave (we cant all keep calling him her bf he has a name XD ). It has taken the estimated time of a week to complete and im extremely impressed with the constant communication from Vixen and Knave."

"I'm Vixen's bf, also the designer of SoulCreative. If any persons interested in our work and has questions about my design philosophy or process or, even anything, please wing an EVEmail my way!"

2013 - This seems to be when the story changed. Naturally circumstances do change, but with so many other red flags and what you just said, this does not help you win me over in the slightest.

http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1291146
"My name is Luna. I have a small company made up of myself as developer, my brother as designer, and then a couple others who help with administrative and artistic work. We make up a small company based out of USA called SoulCreative."

"Our company is official and legal in my older brother, Michael Prey's name."

"to quote my brother, michael:"

I'm going to take one final risk in this post and point out the following. On 19.07.2013 you stated that you company was based out of the USA. Also of note is that you seem to primarily have made websites for Chinese entities, and you say you first created the Scoville Scale website for a Chinese entity.

On one of your own websites you say, on 12.07.2013 (seven days prior to the above post), that you are currently living in China.

I started learning web development a couple months before I came to EVE Online and sold websites. My boyfriend at the time was doing this with me because we enjoyed it.

Then I moved to China. I continued to develop websites. I volunteered to make the University website and they gave me free tuition. That university is the 25th largest in China. It got me lots of recognition, and as a result, I started to pick up clients, and it just so happens that I have a brother who's a genius web developer who has chosen to work full time with me on this company. We have sales reps paid based on commision in Colorado, Wisconsin, Florida, Beijing, and Hainan, China. Our company is registered in USA. This means we are based out of USA. When I receive payments from Chinese clients, the transfer is wired to an American business account. Also, my brother is in USA. He lives in New York.

I'm 17 years old as you see. I just got back after a year in China. Due to my success in China, I've been working on bringing in clients here in USA. I will get my first car in 2 weeks, and I will begin joining business networking events, and a little advertising. My contacts in China also bring in business for us. My development skills are good, but my brothers are industry standard. With his help, we have the skills to tackle any project.

My company is quite young. The portfolio I've shown you is the legacy we have left so far. It isn't much, but it's quality work. And it's growing.
