I had been watching the price of these implants almost daily since April because I was ready to purchase one, at no point in the last year was the average at or close to 2.1bil. On top of that, I watched CCP announce the plans to change the availability of these implants, and with joy I raced to the market place to see how much these implants dropped from the announcement! And with disappointment, I noticed they were being sold for maybe 100mil less then the previous week. After a couple weeks went by the prices still sat pretty consistently at 1.1bil. Hell, even the night before odyssey 1.1, they were still selling for 900mil.

So to me, this appears as a trolling attempt or you are trying to cover up a poor market call by blaming the patch. But don't try to defend your position by asking for a couple of weeks to sell off your assets when you had a month between the announcement of the changes to mind links and when odyssey 1.1 landed.

You mean that thing that was worth over 200mil, and I got to buy it for under 50? Lol

Who put the goat in there?

Look at the bright side. When you get podded, replacing it will cost you less than 50 mil! Even better, the killer won't be able to gloat over a 2bil+ pod kill!

Dude, EVE has a player driven market, not GM managed one. So by extension....if anyone owes you iskies we do. I suggest you hire some mercs to do some isk reallocation services for you...Big smile

hello folks

me and i know a lot of others
bought the mind link after themining barge change

at that point there was not a anouncement yet that they
were going to change way they could be aquired

so i bought that thing 2.1 b

and about 2 days later they pronounce
that the mind links could be bought with concorde lp

i say that they should reimburse the difference
between the price we payed and the price it became

the price now is only a fraction
of what is was when it was still a "rare" drop

already made a petition about this but all they simply dont care

i call this theft from the players by ccp

I remember when I lost my first slave set. I cried many tears and wanted reimbursement but, not just reimbursement. I wanted justice as well.

I feel for you, I truely do..

Thanks for supporting every marketeer in their efforts to dump the stock before it plummets. You have helped me gain my slave set back, as well as probably my fund half my pvp ships. =D

I don't know where you are looking. Mining mindlinks are being sold in the trade hubs for under 100 million now.

Forget the mindlinks, I want the potential passive income I didn't make over the last year and a half. I was making top tier items with planetary interaction. Then they changed how PI worked and added those pesky poco's.

Before the HAC changes, I stockpiled about 50 cheap Eagles, which I then sold for a hefty profit after the Eagle got made non-useless and the price shot up.

I demand that I reimburse CCP for the ISK I made after the price changed! Even though CCP didn't set the price and I didn't buy or sell to CCP but other players... erm...

Also, I demand that CCP don't fix the Succubus, Worm or Phantasm, to prevent this happening again in the future. In fact, don't change the market price of anything, ever again.

I just checked. The OP doesn't have a mining permit so, when he eventually loses his ship and pod to New Order enforcement it will all the cheaper for him to get his chrome re-domed.

There, I just made lemonaide for you.

So much for our little scheme of selling the mind links and then tracking down the buyers for wonderful pod killmails.
