And what features would you add to eve or facebook?

The current social media part where people broadcast on the eve gate does not really look like a succes to me, which is probably why nothing has been added to this.
Also eve as a game is to old to really implement anything new like this, the game should just continue the way it is going now untill subscriptions drop and then move on to the next mmo ccp is developing.

In a mmo like that which is completely new there might be room for some adding of social media, depending on ofc on what kind of features.

I personally do not really see gaming and facebook worming together, people simply add people for no reason or invites them just to get a bonus in the game.
Not to really improve the social aspect of a game or anything else.

Wait... don't we already have SpaceBook, i.e. EVE Gate?

Whats up with you people? The OP was clearly sarcastic about this, and you just ride the serious-train. I cant believe how few people can understand irony in a text.

There is nothing sarcastic, I own facebook stock I bought it straight out from the IPO and have never regretted it a moment, there is no future that doesn't include Facebook.

This is how you bring a promising troll post into low mediocrity.

Do not feed your own thread, if the OP is not good enough to have it going without self replies formulate a better one.

The future of all technology and especially the internet is converging upon Facebook.

From law enforcement to online voting, Facebook will be the portal for everything we do in our digital lives, I think it is time that EVE jump on the express train to Facebook before it is too late. In the very near future we will be seeing the brandings Mac and PC replaced with the reverent blue tones of the Facebook logo.

There is a huge potential niche where the "carbon powered" logo could be replaced by the "Facebook powered" logo and full integrate all matters of EVE within it's hallowed shell.

Every ISK earned should be automatically published to Facebook, so my grandparents can see that I am not wasting my life, but uniting with a worldwide pandemic of saints and lost souls across the digital etherium.

The way it sits now EVE is less than 1% integrated into Facebook, by years end I suspect it will not break the 1% goal unless we join together and let CCP know that WE ARE FACEBOOK, you, me, your family, and all good people of the world are citizens of Facebook.

We are already One World United By Facebook, is it not time to be One Universe?

If I ever decide to get a facebook it will actually be a book which I use to dry the gnawed off faces of my enemies.

Do you wanna join my facebook, OP?

Simply put: NOOOOOO!
Really, keep facebook away from EVE. I don't have an account with that black hole of personal information, and I am not going to create one any time soon. Pirate

Facebook?

Sooner or later that POS will be supplanted by something even more useful to the vapid mindless hordes of narcissistic sheep.

Oh look!

We have a shill for the NSA doing the propaganda pump.

Next you'll be saying how important it is that you never encrypt anything on line. Right?

We play EVE to not be social......
Why would we want to connect our single player game to social media?

You know why I don't use Facebook? Well, aside the fact that I don't have friends, it's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste its stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it.

No seriously! I come from the generation where technology does things for you, not the other way around, as is the case for many of the technologies present. I don't want to belong to a service that I can't explicitly control. Facebook is offensive, invasive and a malignant piece of technology. NO, I don't want Facebook broadcasting to my "friends" what I just ate by analyzing my feces before I've had the chance to sh1t it out or afterwards. NO, I don't want to be asked every day if I know people. NO, I don't want to use something that is a precarious balance between having private conversations and broadcasting everything I say to the world. I cherish my privacy. Facebook does not and has stated that privacy is outmoded. BS!!!

If I share a detail about my life then know, I've chosen to do so, not due to a change in TOS or EULA or an OOPSIE!

If I had to give up my privacy to play Eve Online to the extent that I would being a member of Facebook, I absolutely would not play Eve online.

Yes, I detest Facebook and the likes.

Don't ban me, bro!

The upcoming Rubicon expansion talks about Twitch.tv integration into the client. Facebook is affiliated with Twitch.tv. You can merge your accounts log in to your twitch account using your Facebook account. Guess what kids, that means Facebook is likely going to be collecting information about you directly from the EVE client. Even if you don't have an account websites with the facebook widget collect user information for Facebook to use. I wish they would re-consider client integration.

This game is ruthless...

You wanna integrate EVE with Facebook?

What kind of stupid **** are you gonna say next?

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

…so don't connect your twitch account with facebook, and block the hell out of facebook connect and all its trackers.

The community has spoken in regard to Facebook.

However, SitOnMyFacebook has yet to be decided. Also, would that be considered a horizontal or vertical integration?

Eveville on Facebook? 0/10 and back of the line for the OP.
