Are you interested in making the transition from carebear to pew, but don't know how?

I am seeking a single apprentice. This is quite an opportunity to learn from someone with an actual track record.

Sort of questionable since the blog seems to indicate that that the person has to join your corp/alliance in order to receive the training and mentoring you are offering. If this was in the recruitment section of the forum i would not think twice about it, but since recruiting is not allowed in NCQA this might be considered "naughty"

But since the blog also makes it seem like the training will be around high sec PVP i guess you have to recruit the apprentice in order to be able to teach them anything first hand, unless of course your willing to take them into low sec/0.0/wh space where a war dec is not needed for the kind of PVP your looking to teach them.

However, good luck and would be interesting to see how it turns out Smile

This is hilarious. Have a look at the KB (vast majority of kills in high-sec) and their Eve-Who:

Looks like all they do is wardec carebear corps and go for easy kills. Definitely pro PvP there!

You do realise you just wardecced a WH alliance? But nonetheless I am super scared, I do spend some time in HS occasionally - put your money where your mouth is and come find me :)

So you are going to hide out in a WH? ::sadpanda:: This is what I get for trying to refute your original bs claim about us only deccing carebears.. hmf...war hasn't even started and you are already laying exscuses for not engaging.

Oh well, any alliance-mates that come out and get zapped will still get your big mouth to thank for it I guess... :)

Oh hai....

Few things:

1) Call us care bears or whatever you like I generally don't care. We are wormhole based and frankly have no interest in high sec games.

2) Braxus is now in stasis to be removed from the corp

3) Anyone you do kill I will remove from the alliance for stupidity so thanks for helping me filter them

Wormhole corporations don't tend to hide in w-space. It's just where we are.

This is fun. Wasting money on wardeccing a WH alliance. You do know that you could have killed them without a wardec.

Solid diplo gesture. I will be watching his career with interest.

In the meantime, back to regular programming. This really is an opportunity for someone new to EvE & curious about pvp, if I do say so myself. But don't take my word for it...

Id suggest joining a Low Sec Pirate Corp, I have joined in a few roams with such types and learned heaps.

Fitting, Camping, Roams, Scanning, Tactics.

With fleet sizes no larger than 30 members, so relatively small scale.

Becareful to monitor your sec status, and find means to keep it above - 2.0.

Fly cheap til your confident, or have the resources not to care, although remember your Kill Board (KB).

The nice thing about my teaching method is you don't have to jump right into losec, or get caught up in the never ending grind for sec status (or buying it back). Being in hisec you are also always close to trade hubs and the benefits that provides. Further, there is more control on engagements while learning. Another key bonus is quick exposure to juicy bling kills, that just don't manifest as gratuitously in losec IMHO. Perhaps more important is ability to engage blingy stuff right away solo, without need for a backing gang.

Not saying losec isn't a worthy end state goal, but for a new player interested in pew my method of ramping up in hisec via piracy and wardec-based mercenary work is less of a cold splash of water in the face, and more fun with less 1-for-1 kill:death ratio grind. Myself and recent graduates have very nice K:D ratios, sometimes bordering on the rediculous...

Does your instruction include poise and fashion, too, or is the student supposed to learn how to be a hunchbacked butler all by himself?

I laughed so hard at that, for some unknown reason.

Also, hello fellow militia-man. One very good alternative to flying in high sec and pvping is just joining FW. I've learned more in the past month about PVP than I ever learned before that, even after living in null-sec for over a year.

I had a few Apprentices that went on and joined larger corps and alliances. All of them X miners and Missioners that are now cold blooded killers.

Can be fun if you find the right person.... and then frustrating when you find the wrong person or who will never really be able t fly on his own with many people helping him.

Ignore the haters... it always comes from people with worse records.

My hat is off to you, sir. I actually burst out laughing at that absolutely pitch-perfect response. If the game allowed me to send a bushel of kittens to you as carebear tribute, I would.
