That out of my system. For anoms you don't need nearly as much tank as you are thinking. Trading tank for more applied damage to the elite cruiser waves will go a lot further. To that end there are two ways of thinking.

1) arti has huge alpha and rats spawn at a dead stop. This let's you blast one or two off the field as soon as they show up. However the very slow reload times cause you to take more hits in between.

On the other foot the blaster rokh with proper fit has just a bit smaller range than the orbit range for those cruisers and bs rats. This makes you move around and take more hits.

For Fhubs and lower an ABC can do them fairly safely at half the cost and better relative safety from ganks. That is assuming that you are willing to bolt to pos as soon as local changes. Otherwise you are very susceptible to SB ganks.

Agreed. It's cap is horrible. Even with perfect skills you need cap mods to be stable just running the guns. If that's the way it's going to be, you may as well fly a golden ships that fires pretty rainbow beams.
