Hey gents anyone having their pc go to a black screen and reboot randomly during game play of eve? This happened to me since i updated my last two drivers from nvidia. I was using the current beta but this happened so i went to the whql with same issue.

I did an os reinstall just incase and sure thing same problem. Im running quad sli (2 590s) and i think ive narrowed it down. For some reason all setting on high will cause the pc to reboot. Sometimes an hour or 15 min of gameplay just randomly. I disabled anti aliasing and have not had any issue since. Anyone else having this issue as well with sli and eve?

I've had nothing but constant crashes and blue/blackscreening after installing any nvidia driver past 306.97 on Win7 Ultimate with virtually every 3D game I play. Some people have suggested altering RAM and GPU voltages helps with stability, but since it only seems to be newer drivers from nvidia that cause the issues I can't help thinking they're just really poorly designed in some way.

I'd have to suggest rolling back and finding a stable driver that works for you unless you're comfortable messing around with timings and voltages. Contrary to the popular meme of lazy tech support, we don't always need the most up-to-date drivers... Lol

Well after extensive tests i found the issue. The issue is a recent update with the game is causing my system to bluescreen/reboot. The crash is caused by sli being active. I am currently running 2 gtx 590s (quad sli) so the game does not like the sli. After a reinstall of the os and reverting to older vid drivers that did work on eve just fine still had the issue. The only change at that point was the updates to the game. So, i disabled sli and wala played 4 hours dual boxing with no issues! Enabled sli and the pc rebooted clearly eve does not like sli atm and is causing driver issues with the gpu and causing the crash/bluescreen. CCP please look into this. Ive tried all the settings in game one at a time while sli was enabled and it did not resolve the issue so clearly it has something to do with the game itself.
