Those free/reimbursement skillpoints are really adictive!

We should be able to buy those with AURUM! Smile

The issue was caused by the addition of new servers to the cluster today. The EVE application server code was inconsistent with the rest of the cluster on those machine and that caused issues with jumping between systems among other things.

We re-replicated the code to the machines and started the cluster. A member of the QA team verified that the systems on the new servers were working before we allow player connections to the cluster.

As a side note, as soon as the problem was detected, a taskforce of 29 people, consisting of Virtual world administrators and DBAs, QA, programmers, producers, community, etc., was assembled to deal with the issue as fast as we could.

The best part about this is that you took the time to tell us what happened and what you did to fix it.

Thank you!

I chose my own alias when I started in the volunteer program back in 2003 and kept it when I joined CCP in 2004. Employees chose their own aliases, if they want or need one.

I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you that after today's reopening of TQ, my UI theme settings were altered without my consent. They went from Lunar Green > Black.

That's indeed a cool job title.

- "What do you wanna be when you're all grown up, boy?"
- "I wanna be a Virtual world administrator, Grandpa."

I actually suggested quite a few names before selecting this one, but those were taken... so I called a friend of mine that picked a random book from a shelf, opened it and found a name. Pirate Turned out he picked out Silmarillion.

Nothing should have changed that affected client settings. The only change we made during this downtime other than adding machines to the cluster, was to fix a few characters, ca. 150, that had the wrong ownerID on them, but that should not have any effect on client settings.
