With the newly announced Sisters of Eve faction ships for Eve: Rubicon, the demand for SoE loyalty points is likely to skyrocket now that it's not just probe launchers and probes that you will be able to buy with them.

I feel the time has come to ask for the reinstatement of security-level mission clearance to Inesmir Jimud, the L4 agent in the Gicodel VII - Moon 14 - Sisters of EVE Bureau station. She lost that clearance on that fateful day of May 19th, 2011, which saw the release of Incursion 1.5. Long enough have we had to endure that only Lozdod Pousel in Osmon held the only high-sec L4 security clearance amongs the SoE. With the Sisters of Eve revealed as affiliated with the Gallente (no surprise there) and the Amarr (some surprise there), capsuleers supporting the SoE seeking marching orders of the highest grade should obtain them in Gallente (and Amarr) space before Caldari space.

To be honest, the SoE should probably have a L4 security agent in each of the 4 faction territories. I'm focussing on the case for the one in Gicodel to be restored, though, as I feel backed by the lore and the history of EVE in this matter. I'm sure others will be along shortly to support the Amarr and Minmatar bids for an agent of their own.

I welcome your support, as well as your thoughts and comments.

UPDATE:

The Sisters of EVE have heard our prayers.

Until all are free...

I'm in favour of the SOE treating all four empires equally and placing a lvl 4 agent inside the territory of each nation.

If they don't I may be forced to interpret this as a slight against the Brutor tribe and become upset about it. I'll think of a justification after the fact in order to give everyone else reasons to be annoyed with me, they seem to enjoy that.

Full support! Let's get L4 agents in all Empires!

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

If their mandate is to serve all then it does make sense to cover all the main up to and including L4, otherwise they are playing favourites and I know the sisters don't want to seem to favour one group over another.

More than likely the CCP Dev made a mistake and said Amarr instead of Minmatar. According to standings, SoE is positive towards Gallente and Minmatar.

I don't think CCP is changing all the inter factional standings and factional allies within this game. That's a lot of work to do which would negate the very core of Eve's back history.

EDIT:

I'd like to remind everyone there's only 1 Faction that is positive towards all Empire Factions and that Faction has no LP Store or Storyline Agents available. That Faction is The Interbus.

The reason for that is it would be way too easy to gain positive standings with all Empire Factions.

I suspect so, the SoE agents keep sending me to blow up Amarr ships Smile

Philosophically, the Gallente and Minmatar may be more sympathetic to the SOE, but as far as mechanics go, we've already got two pirate factions using Gallente/Minmatar skill sets.

(We need an alternative to "pirate faction" that would also cover SOE. How's "non-government faction" sound?)

He said about something about Armor resists from the Amarr side. The ship itself doesn't exactly look like Minni engineers had a hand in its creation, does it?

Maybe the empress had a sekrit meeting with Sister Alitura or something. Shocked

Or maybe there's been a little bit of technology theft going on. Not that the Sisters would ever engage in such underhanded behaviour... Smile

Theft is such a harsh word. Export business, yes, maybe call it piggyback export business. Khanid would have sold it anyway, just look at all their mingling with the capitalist pigs Caldari.

I'm pretty sure they meant what they said with Gallente and Amarr.
1) Because there's only two combinations left with no associated faction ships: Gallente/Amarr and Caldari/Minmatar
2) The ships will be getting bonuses to Drones (Gallente) and Armour Resist (Amarr)

The real question is, which faction will end up getting Caldari/Minmatar?

"It is unclear how Thukker Mix could master the intricacies of cloaking technology so quickly after the fall of Crielere. According to Professor Oggand Viftuin, head of R&D, the tribe managed to recruit some senior Caldari scientist that used to work on the Mirage Project at Crielere. Ishukone has denied this, claiming that the Thukkers aquired the technology from prototypes stolen by the Guristas."

Hmmm... Minnies are already working on it.

I figure CCP is going to take a look at faction standings and the impact SOE might have on them...

I like the idea of Osmon becoming even more bloated with more SOE mission runners, the Ice Miners, and griefing scum that will soon make Osmon their home. Let's call it Jita 2..... P

In fact get rid of all Level4 SOE security agents except the one in Osmon.... Twisted

CCP has talked about capsuleers moving away from governments and starting to think independently and how the game will move toward exploration of unknown regions, etc. That fits with the SOE concept. Maybe they are bringing some ships in-game to help focus the gamers on their back-story to help the evolution of the game's future make sense? Exploration of the eve-gate, bulkier exploration ships, future colonization of unknown regions ....

... fits in my small mind. SOE in all regions, unless it is needed for more pew pew to advance future vision-expansions for exploration of unknown regions.
