I do agree with the "not being able to farm where you dont live" effect, but that's hardly the same thing as "breaking up the blob". An achievement no doubt, but a relatively minor one compared to driving smaller scale and more regular conflict.

The effect, if done right, will be three fleets of 20-50 dudes going to deal with it. Driving small scale regular conflict. As opposed to a CTA to save a reinforced tower, where four hundred dudes show up.

Or scheduled blob fleets that systematically burn through all the siphons at regular intervals throughout the day.

Make sure the siphons have a LOT OF HP

To make shooting them as painful as possible

they should also online nearly instantly and be very small
