Hey all, It's probably been asked, however i have been known to be captain oblivious at times.

Anyway my question is as follows, I've currently got a toon doing somethings out in Null sec, and the path connects through some factional warfare routes. Due to being in a corp I don't want to drop the corp to join a factional warfare corp/militia.

However during some of the quieter times I wouldn't mind venturing into the warzone and polishing up on PvP skills. So if i am not in a factional warfare corp. can i still go pew pew out that way? Or are will i be restricted due to not being part of a factional warfare corp/militia.

There are no rules in EVE. Only Consequences.

The more complete answer is that anyone can pew pew in FW space regardless of whether they are enlisted in the militia. Success at pvp'ing in faction warfare areas is another matter entirely.

You can still come and pew in fw space and in fw plexes without joining FW.

Just bring a nice bling ship with faction/deadspace/officer modules and ur set.

The only consequences are:

1. Decreasing security status that tops out at -10.
2. Standings loss with the NPC corp (note corp, not faction) that the AFK farmer you podded belongs to.

So nothing problematic. Come play.

Be aware though that if you pew these guys the Doctor will immediately travel back in time, kill your granddad and you will never have existed.

edit* actually the doctor wouldn't kill anyone, he's convince your graddad not to have babies with a well thought out yet oddly british viewpoint.

Not being in FW allows for a more target rich environment.

If you live in Null the consequences are more or less irrelevant.

Stabbed ships shouldnt be allowed in the plex. So lame.

Agreed, but OTOH there is a certain satisfaction to catching those who think they can't be caught.Big smile

Bring a dual scram ship. Or stop worrying about it. Or bring a hictor.
