Somewhere deep in wormhole space Bobs smile spreads across his face.

Meanwhile I'm sitting at work doing my job tired and grumpy, I decide to take a glance at my phones messages and I see several from one of my cap builders. I'm tired but I decide to read:

" So he left the thanny in my pos without a password, without thinking I put on the password and it got ejected off into space..." My eyes grew wide as I read this message over again and responded " F*** ".

It is an hour or so before downtime and our pilots capable of flying the ship don't usually log on this early unless we need them. I begin to blow up facebook of one of our cap pilot knowing he is asleep but his messages go straight to his phone, 30 messages in I'm just saying his name over and over hoping I **** him off enough to glance at that horrible device. 15 minutes later still no response, I look at my co worker and tell her I have to leave early and I bolt and hop on my motorcycle.

I ride home (its colder than usual tonight damn Ohio sucks), kiss my GF and hop on eve acquiring significant aggro at this point.

The builder has been bumping the Thanny for nearly an hour now trying to get it back too the POS ( it isn't even on grid damn that thing bounced far) I jump into the frantic bumping but down time is 45 seconds away.

The servers go down and we are left with a dark feeling, how long is it going to take us to get this thing back too the POS.. SUDDENLY my phone goes of, Its the cap pilot who left the ship in the POS!!

We are now all waiting to log on.. the downtime was short YES. We log on and warp to where the Thanny was last... its not here... " F*** where is it " We warp to a pos to grab a scanning ship... and there she is sitting inside the shields like nothing happened....

I might have to go buy all the exotic dancers in Jita to make up for this one

i have a similar experience, POS password reset on some unanchored modules and they go sailing out and offgrid

after DT next day they're back where we left them

didn't think that would happen to ships though

The servers keep track of unmanned ships only when someone ejects from them, so they always return to the exact same spot after reset no matter how far you have bumped them.

What is this blasphemy? Burn him at the stake. Bob willed this trial unto his servants in hopes that they would prevail. And once they had shown sufficient faith, he blessed them with his reward. Albeit a mighty tricky reward but still a reward at best. Let it be known that bob has a sense of humor.

I traveled through a boring chain today C2-C4-C3-C1-C6-C2-C4-C3-null, On my adventures space was cold and empty no good fights presenting themselves, null empty as usual every hole having so many k162's random high secs and so many sigs.

A few hours later I head home bored and what do I find! A k162 into my home system! I travel through this pulsing sphere like thing and what do I see on dscan? People Shipping up and flying around!

Had a good fight with a good guy in a very bad ferox fit (gave him a better fit for next time). GF Sai Kion.

I head home and watch some tv for a bit, get bored and go back into the k162 and dscan.. did that pod just get into a hauler with my hawk on dscan?... (scans poco's) omg he's really doing this. Warp in tackle kill, scram the pod and hold it for my buddy going kill crazy on comms. Back to high sec for you, shoulda spoke up in local. :

Bob didn't want you to get that PI anyways.

Did I mention our static c4 today was our old home system? Was able to grab the large minmatar tower and mods we left :D

ALL HAIL BOB.

Man, I just want to say that all of these "ERRMERRGERD BOB!!!1!!!11!!!" threads seriously give me an aneurysm every time I see them. People please, try to at least seem rational even if it's a joke.

Little neckbeard GM behind his computer fapping and giggling à la Wizard of Oz.

Tempted to start an atheism movement in w-space.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

If reading any thread gives you an aneurysm then you have more problems than this...I will sacrifice to Bob in your name.

Bob lore aside.. I'm pretty sure CCP devs stroll into WH's for the explicit reason of trolling us. Hence why they never talk about wh's yet seem to know what goes on in them all the time. Spend enough time scanning the less popular wh/static combinations & you'll see what I mean.

They come to wspace couse they know it is the most hilarious of all space. Where are you going to find a nomad moros trying to close all exits, rolls you out of your chain, just to have an entrance 7 jumps thru null from your static, while the 3 prots that are tackling the damn thing are going out of ammo and I'm dual boxing a prot and a crane filled with medium void thru such space, uh!?
