I believe that you are mistaking a preference for anonymity in all forum communication for fear, how quaint. Unlike youfself I feel no need for ostentatious advertising of my main on the forums. Oh and might I also add the fact that posting on your "main" who is in an npc corp isn't what I would define as fearless.
