I find jump clones to be completely useless anyways. When I lived in /0 sec I tried them out for a bit when needing to go to lowsec or what not but found that it was a pain to deal with the 24 hour wait time and easier for me to fly 40 jumps up and 40 jumps back down. Plus, when you're in a clone, you don't have your implants (unless you buy them) so you lose SP's if you are using skill implants and I was losing training time. One time I self destructed my JC and I actually lost the clone grade on my Main Clone which I had to then upgrade my main clone once again. So if you are using a JC and you can't bring the implants with you because it's a different clone, but if your JC is blown up, it also directly effects the clone grade on your main clone? it makes no sense to me. I pay the same amount repurchasing implants on my main as I do upgrading my main clone's grade because a completely separate clone (JC) was blown up.

other words, I am not even going to bother with JC's or JC skill books and I think it is useless myself.

You seem to be confused about Jump Clones and Medical Clones.

The Medical Clone is your 'respawn' point for when you get podded and has nothing to do with Jump Clones.

Jump Clones are spare bodies, Each one has its own head for plugging in implants. You can place them where ever you want in the universe and transport (Jump) yourself there subjest to the timer.

Removing jumpclones from this game would be greatPirate

Should have made timer dependent on JC location. Short timers for JCs in the same system. 20 hour timer for other JCs. Or do a few steps of grey in-between. Whatever.

The point was never to get more than one jump per day, but to make it realistically feasible to actually use your one jump per day without inhibiting gameplay/making it a pain in the ass.

In the old system, if you jumped as 22:00 on one day, 23:00 on the next, the following day you would not be able to jump at 22:00.

Now, you can jump at 22:00, then 23:00, then 17:00, then 18:00, and so forth.

Reducing jump clone delay further would put it in the realm of multiple convenient jumps per day, which is a big No No.

Bittervets don't need more skills to train - there's something like 20+ years of possible skills to train already in the system.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

You are totally doing it wrong.

JCs aren't for travel (well, you can use 'em that way, but that's . . . doing it wrong). JCs are for having multiple clones with different implants sets: For example, I have a clone with just training implants, a clone with lesser training implants and a bunch of cap skill/logi implants, a clone with lesser training implants and a bunch of gunnery implants, and a clone with probing/exploring implants. All are in the same system (wish I could keep 'em in the same station, but whatever).

So yeah, you should actually learn how to use them, they are very useful. Also don't require you to stupidly self destruct your pod and fail to update your medical clone . . .

Well do you think the changei is useful to you personally or not? thats really the question. I mean it might be just me that feels like that.

to be honest i don't think this change was needed at all. Only Tippia gave real argument "you cannot use JC every day because of 24 hours cooldown. It is always 24 hours + few seconds". All other people was just crying "JC cooldown period is too loooong!!!".

Change happened and .... we see such threads again: JC cooldown period is too loooong!

Me personally is getting this skill to V atm. Just because i have nothing to train. Not sure if i ever use it tho Lol
