The few hours its knocks off, even at level 5 really doesnt actually help or make a difference personally and feel no real benefit. Not sure how other people feel about it. If it knocked it down to 12 hours then i guess that would be a whole lot more useful.

Eh. Not a huge time saver, but it's a nice convenience.

And so start the "please just a bit more CCP" arguments.

I dont think CCP should have changed them.

Well do you think the changei is useful to you personally or not? thats really the question. I mean it might be just me that feels like that.

To amplify; If I dump out of a blank clone into something a bit smarter at the end of the evening, I can get back into my dumbass clone before launching into the next night's op. Of course, that pretty much means I'm stuck 'dumb' until sometime the following day, but it' still convenient for weekday ops.

which was the point of the skill to allow you to actually jump every day.

The point is that a 24h timer was a 24h and a bit timer, actually.

If you had to jumpclone every day, unless you managed to always jump when the timer ran out,
one just kept pushing the timer to a later moment in time.

With these skills you actually get the chance to use it once a day,
compared to once a day and a bit.

Hope i expressed myself correctly.

Yup.

The skill was not intended to make jumping a common occurrence — only to allow you to actually do it once a day.

Nothing more is needed. In fact, the skill isn't needed — it's still the wrong solution to the problem. The correct solution would have been to not implemented the skill and to just reduce the timer to a flat 23 hours. Still, the skill is a solution, even if it's a stupid one.

CCP dun it wrong, they should have just added a skill to zero the JC timer so that we could travel trhoughout the whole galaxy instantly as much as we'd like

Like said, it's useful because you can use it everytime you get home during the week, almost disregarding the time you did it the day before

I would love to see it be like 12 hours or something, but unfortunately it isn't going to happen.

As it is, it is worth spending the extra days skilling it up to help enable a jump clone hop on time instead of having to time it.

I don't have to wait until 8pm, or whatever time if my alliance puts up a calendar event/op that requires me to be in a different clone. I can simply jump when I get home.

While I favor the "12 hr" Jump Clone, I still think that what CCP has done with the Jump Clone activiation skill is good. As far as it being a skill, because I am a workin' man it was sufficient for me to train it up to level 3 to where I can always JC when I get home from my job. So, yeah. It is useful and practical in its current iteration.

Though, a 12 hr Jump Clone would still be nice.

Yes I agree it's more convienient now no doubt. Sometimes you just need to JC because you have to for a task that will only take a very short period of time <1hr. Then I want toJC back PDQ to where my actual gameplay is going on, however I have to wait 19 hours to do so, therefore I have to just log off for that period or more because I can't really do anything . Meh maybe I want the moon on a stick :)

You dont HAVE to do jack ****. Did you know that spaceships in this game can... wait for it.. TRAVEL through space? Yes! You can reach your destination by warping there. Wormhole shortcuts, jump bridge networks, cyno alts with jump capable ships.

The 19 hours is a convenience. Its perfect.

I have no use for it myself.

I find jump clones to be completely useless anyways. When I lived in /0 sec I tried them out for a bit when needing to go to lowsec or what not but found that it was a pain to deal with the 24 hour wait time and easier for me to fly 40 jumps up and 40 jumps back down. Plus, when you're in a clone, you don't have your implants (unless you buy them) so you lose SP's if you are using skill implants and I was losing training time. One time I self destructed my JC and I actually lost the clone grade on my Main Clone which I had to then upgrade my main clone once again. So if you are using a JC and you can't bring the implants with you because it's a different clone, but if your JC is blown up, it also directly effects the clone grade on your main clone? it makes no sense to me. I pay the same amount repurchasing implants on my main as I do upgrading my main clone's grade because a completely separate clone (JC) was blown up.

other words, I am not even going to bother with JC's or JC skill books and I think it is useless myself.

Did you say it knocks a few hours, well that knocks off five hours from the countdown timer.

If you take it to lvl 5 you only have to wait 19 hours before you can Jump Clone again instead of the 24 Hours.

I think its a great Idea that CCP had done what they had done.

Remember to play the Game as intended.
