I don't know about you, but the amount of disruption in the last 12 months has had far more impact than the days of impact.
Personally, I've got patch fatigue and I think another SP handout may be in order... if the last one was a precedent.

I rejoined EVE something like 13 or 14 months ago and so far I've lost... hm... a maximum of 2 or 3 days to patching (if at all considering I'm not playing every day). If the dame would be down for a week or two, I'd be all for some kind of compensation or sorry, but for regular downtimes, even if there'd be emergency maintenances every week? No, that's stretching it a bit too far.

The only SP give away we have ever had was when server was offline for nearly a full day due to hamsters blockading the beer fridge in protest. The fact that they are pushing tons of small patches instead of whoppers once in a while is a good thing, even if it feels like a bad thing (same as washing your nether regions a little too vigorously).

This gets my thumbs down too. Unallocated SP are very OP. I still have 2.5million and it pretty broken. If I need a skill suddenly, poof I have it. We don't need any more of this.
