so it looks like Crafter and I are definitely going into WH space.

i think we want to concentrate on ore mining and do some gas on the side and maybe some sleeper action....

so i think Ore mining in WH space is my immediate future...so please, feel free to school me on the best ways of doing that..

You should definitely make killing sleepers a part of what you do.

First off, you'll have to, since my understanding is that most, if not all ore sites in WH space are infested with them.

Secondly however, if you loot and salvage their wrecks, you'll often find it sells for a hefty amount of ISK (especially nanoribbons). Besides, you don't was spare wrecks floating around near your mining barges providing convenient warp-in points for hostile wormhole gangs....

Quick note - on gas sites it takes approx 15 minutes from the time your ship lands on grid for the Sleepers to appear.

Some people just quickly warp to all the gas sites after they scan them to trigger them, then come back 15 minutes later in a combat ship to clear the sites.

You don't necessarily have to haul your ore/ice/gas to one of the main trade hubs to sell your wares. There are two other good options:

1) Offer your stuff for sale on the 'Minerals & Manufacturing' chat channel. This is one of the main channels set up by CCP and is often used to sell minerals.

2) Join the 'Bulk Trade' mailing list which can be found in the 'EVE Mail' window. There are rules & protocols as to how you write your advert but it's not difficult to do. You do need to have certain quantities of items hence the name 'Bulk Trade'.

Both of the above options require you to know what the current selling prices are at the main hubs. Having an 'alt' at Jita is handy for this as well as for trading etc. Be prepared to haggle, to be offered very silly prices, be polite and don't let others take advantage of you. Aim to sell at a price above the highest buyers price but below the lowest sellers price. The best time to sell is on Sunday afternoon or evening as there are more pilots online and traders have to raise prices to fill their orders.

and once they are cleared do they come back? if so when do they come back?

so i think that the easiest way to make ISK, if i mine Ore in WH space, is to just sell it to a corp member at 90% Jita. then they can worry about transporting it.

They don't come back once cleared. But I'm not sure whether some of the gas sites have multiple waves of NPC spawns.

In a C4 Vast Frontier Reservoir (I think), I've had 2 waves once, but the next site with exactly the same name had the whole gang when warping in, seems the second wave is timed and does spawn no matter what if the site has been warp-triggered.
