The Deritan Family would like to officially announce that the formal adoption of Madeleine Raske, Tyrion Raske, and Tamar Raske, children of Lasairiona Raske Deritan by Eric Lancier will take place on the 29th day of the ninth month, 115YC.

There will be a gathering hosted on this day ((1900 Eve time)) at L’Amore in Ballo. Children are more than welcome to attend as there will be plenty of entertainment.

I strongly suggest the absolutely tightest security, and segregation of the children from other capsuleers. It has been shown already in recent days that some capsuleers are not opposed to mass murder of children.

As a note for the party:

Dress code will be relaxed. Food and non-alcoholic drinks as well as a magician and a live band (as always!) :-) The invitation is open to anyone and there will be strict security measures in place.

Oh dear, there seems to be some confusion. They are still going to be mine, but Eric is going to officially be listed as their father. Hope that makes more sense now! :-)

I will unfortunately be unable to attend, but I hope that the event provides entertainment and enjoyment for all who do.

I am fully curious as to why people are so concerned with the security of my children? I run a secure establishment as well as have a private family home. I fail to see why I am careless? Unless I should perceive you as a threat, Isis?

The Deritan Family decided, to share some joy with New Eden, in a time that has been glomy and dark, and some of you have the nerve, and gall to bring darkness and despair into a joyful event? Wow. I am shocked and surprised and dismayed, Oh wait no I am not. Just goes to show some capsuleer's out there forget where they came from.


I for one Miss Raske-Deritan Applaud you for bringing or attempting to bring some joy into a cluster that could use some.

For you Miss Isis, well please do try and make good on your attempted veiled threats, as can anyone else that wishes to go after their children, we shall see, whom ends up in pain and suffering and who ends up having a good pleasurable day

I don't think we've forgotten where we came from. We're simply warning the hosts to remember where they currently are. This isn't a community of parents and teachers from the local educational facility. This is a community of capsuleers whose job and pleasure it is to do all manner of dirty deeds.

It's not just miners and traders here. You've got Blood Raiders, Sansha's Nation, Angel Cartel, Provists, Serpentis drug-pushers, Amarr slavers, Minmatar and Federal extremists, and even the occasional genuinely psychotic person. I don't think anybody who's posted in this thread would do anything to harm the children. Even Isis wouldn't. Most of us would stand in the way to protect them, myself included.. but that doesn't mean there aren't threats lurking in the shadows.

I'll make an effort to attend though, and I'll encourage some of my more reputable friends to do the same.
