First thanks in advance for any replies - reasoned responses, trolls, or otherwise :P

Working Assumption:

Sometimes going straight into Level 5 is a debatable choice on a skill that doesn't proceed further and 'dead ends'... and there are differing opinions: some swear by everything at LVL 5, while others do not.)

With that in mind, I thought I would put my neck on the forum chopping block for a public perspective:

Background:

At present I have a racial carrier 5, all my jump skills are at 5, fighters are at 4 (have held off 5 to do a neural remap for drone skills in general - so I accept being flamed for not having 5), and I'm pulling the last of the capital remote transfers: capital hull repping to 4 currently.

Question:

So my question is: Is it worth going straight into 5, or is 4 sufficient to be effective for any and all the capital remote rep skills (or is it more advisable that I work towards 5 at a later date when there's nothing more pressing waiting to train)?

Honestly is fine. Your not going to see a huge difference in going to 5 on any of them. And in the situations you would need 5 your going to have so much dps on the field it will no longer matter.

capital remote reps 5 is an almost total waste of time.
if that 2% is the tipping point on your carrier's cap then you are probably dead anyway or are fitting it wrong.

Thank you for both replies....

I just want to follow up with one more question:

Does this thinking also apply to Triage Carriers? Or just standard Carriers?

Basically with triage carriers being there to "Suicide" your fit is full cap recharge local and reps. So while they extra cap could be nice its not a game breaker.
