I vaguely remember the guy being "Navi-ed" as well, but I can't re-find it either.

Just a bunch of links to plastic surgery clinics in Navi, Mumbai.

The Na'vi have a sort of magical element about them. In my opinion, they are the most magnificent creatures ever thought of. The next step is to make them real.

I really hope to see someone go for the Na’vi look. Of all the modifications conceivable I believe a Na’vi would be the most beautiful one possible.

That whole thing is pure gold.

I'd like to see a "Navi-ed" Tom Arnold as his character's sidekick / 2nd banana.

Highly doubtful.

So far, Cameron's sequel, "T2", was radically different from the first. He wrote them both. He also wrote the sequel "Aliens" which didn't resemble the original at all, even in tone.

Aliens is my favorate of the lot.

To be fair, when he gets it right his movies are great and he has a very cool hobby. Avitar was stunning to look at but the story was just fern gully with air support.

Yup. I understand the need for absolute broad appeal that made necessary the romance-centric nature of "Titanic". That was indeed a lot of cash dropped to get it out there.

Personally, I would have preferred a Kathy Bates / Molly Brown-centric story, from what little we got of that. Oh well.

Same here. Aliens really hit the nail on the head.

Thats where Aliens Vs Predator fell down. It should have been Aliens Vs Predator with Colonial Marines as the meat in the sandwich.

Whether it be music or movies, the early 2000s trend of "mash-ups" was just a terrible idea for the most part.

Largely due to lack of imagination and needing to take it to the desired level if you ask me.

I wonder what will be said of this decade in retrospect.
