CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

European countries have history as most of them weren't founded yesteryear. Our forms of government have changed over time quite a bit and for ease of differentiation and for propaganda purposes we like to number those that are especially dear to our hearts:

1st Reich - Holy Roman Empire: 10th century - 1806
2nd Reich - German Empire: 1871 - 1918
3rd Reich - German Reich: 1933 - 1945

For another example, France counts:

1st Republic: 1792 - 1804
2nd Republic: 1848 - 1851
3rd Republic: 1870 - 1940
4th Republic 1946 - 1958
5th Republic 1958 - present

Expecting a 4th Reich in the US makes about as much sense as expecting a Sixth Republic in the US (i.e. none) - you guys are on your 0th Reich and on your 2nd Republican constitution.
