Hi All,

First I wish to apologise if this is in the wrong place, first post and all that Lol

I'm a newish player (4 or so months in game) , completely new compared to some out there. I have been solo mining/exploring, and have been relatively successful. However, i would like to go into null-sec to do exploring and mining, I have tried, and after being wiped out numerous times, have given up the ghost of doing solo null-sec mining/exploring.
I have decided that i would like to join a corp, or at least a group of people that i can mine and explore with. I have 1.3 million skill points and am training up to get my Mackinaw and get my refining skills up for all ores.

Does anyone know of any corps or groups of players that I would fit into?

cheers

Can look around there, or using the in game corp tool.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Hi there

A corp is always a good idea!

For null sec exploration might I suggest reaching null thru wormholes.
That way you generally won't run into gate camps.

It is entirely possible to find corporations that have a presence in null-sec and need/want miners to join up. I saw one the other day as I am always reading corporation descriptions but I infortunately can't remember their name. Sad

Mining is not the answer.
0.0 exploration is good but you need to learn how to survive in null and even low.
My advice would be to join a PVP corp and start learning eve pvp. So many skills needed to play eve no matter what your eventual career path will be learnt via pvp. I went through a number of awful corps with no socialisation before i found my current one. I have learnt a lot and it has made eve a lot more fun to play with active, knowledgable and social players.
I still do exploration, wh diving, incursions and even some missions for isk but every corp in game has people that need to make isk and you can do that anywhere.
mining is very very dull and has a pretty low income cap on it.
miners are considered victims my some, slave workers by others (the industrialists/traders) and just despised by the rest.
As a new player you have many options before you. Many lead to boredom and poverty , some lead to riches and some lead to poverty and pretty explosions.
Mail me in game if u want to know more about the explosions.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

Nope. Not for the pathetic 4 Bill a month I make from it. It's just not the answer Roll

If you want the make insanely fast ISK try Incursions. All you need is a T2 mod fitted BS and meta 4 guns and you can make minimum of 100 mil an hour up to 180 mil an hour with a good fleet. Check out the channel "The Valhalla Project" for a very good incursion channel.

Some people like to mine and build stuff.. not everyone likes to shoot red crosses. Just remember if you join a null crew you will need to do some pvp. Check out the recruitment threads. What TZ you in? mail me and I could maybe point you in a good direction..
