"This week in EVE" is a weekly overview of EVE Online related news and events and shows what is going on in EVE Online. The focus of this overview is on official news from CCP: For example, dev blogs and important forum posts by CCP developers, the ever evolving background story and upcoming events.   • Drone Exploit Warning!
    • Assigning drones to another pilot and then moving into the safety of a forcefield without having the drones deactivate or return to your dronebay should not be possible and is a defect. Exploiting this defect is not allowed.

  • The Second Decade Collector's Edition Is Coming - Verify Your Delivery Address!
    • EVE: The Second Decade Collector's Edition will be shipping from EVE Store Headquarters on October 24th, 2013. To make sure that your Collector's Edition arrives with you safe and sound, please ensure that your delivery address is still correct!

  • EVE Online - Winter Expansion details on twitch.tv - September 26
    • CCP Guard and the EVE development team will reveal details about the coming EVE Online Winter expansion live on twitch.tv at 20:00 UTC on September 26, 2013. Tune in!

  • Freelance translator for CCP
    • The Localization Services team at CCP is looking for freelance contractors to work remotely on translations from English into several languages for EVE Online and/or DUST 514. Please submit your application until September 20th to freelancetranslators@ccpgames.com if you are interested in translating to Italian, Spanish or German.

  • GM clarification on impersonations
    • The Game Masters would like to clarify that it is usually not possible to impersonate yourself; telling others that you’re an alt of a character you own or telling them what other characters you own is not a EULA/TOS violation in itself.

  • Prizes for July Sanctuary image contest are redeemable now
    • The prizes for the Sanctuary Image Contest in July are now redeemable. Congratulations to the 693 winners!

  • Comment on the future of live events
    • CCP Falcon confirms that live events are still very much alive, even though nothing on the scale of The Batte For Caldari Prime is currently in works. Instead we are in the planning process for the future right now.

  • Successful farewell party for CCP Soundwave with fireworks o7
    • The player organized farewell party for Lead Game Designer CCP Soundwave in Jita was a nice success. One highlight was painting a massive salute in space with fireworks! o7

  • Are there recommended SF book, movie or TV Episodes?
    • CCP Delegate Zero comments on interesting SF material and initiate a series of valuable replies.

  • No mass tests planned on Singularity test server in the near future
    • At the moment we have no mass tests planned for our public test server Singularity as CCP Habakuk confirms.

  • CREST for Planetary Conquest
    • CCP Nullarbor announced the availability of a public CREST endpoint which details the current state of planetary conquest in Molden Heath. Wollari, creator and operator of DOTLAN::EveMaps already used this new information into a new Districts section, thank you!

  • Space tourism - travelling through New Eden
    • While space tourism and round travels through New Eden might seem to be a somewhat exotic profession to some, it could be very exciting to someone else.     Can't say I quite agree. This TOS rewording has really been a roller coaster (even though it seems to be clearing up, finally). Although the lack of official CCP news is most likely due to the "calm before the storm" winter expansion announcement (which I can't wait to see!).

    Just my two cents, and I love the summaries!
